Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 17 Precap: What Will Happen?
The seventeenth episode of Chicago Med Season 7 is titled “If You Love Someone, Set Them Free.” A war between two rival gangs will result in the flooding of emergencies at the hospital. Will and Charles will work together to treat a teenage patient with brain cancer. The kid refuses to get the treatment needed to get better. The stress level will rise to the extreme when a transplant patient’s uterus fails in the upcoming episode. Crockett and Blake would be forced to decide if they should try another transplant using the patient’s sister’s uterus.

In the previous episode, Scott came across a little girl named Kayla. He asked Marcel to take a look at the kid to get a more proper diagnosis. Marcel suggested surgery to find what was actually wrong with Kayla. During the surgery, Scott and Marcel discovered that Kayla’s intestines were not functioning at all. She needed a transplant to get better.
Elsewhere, in Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 16, Taylor treated a patient named Kiran who could not feel move her legs much or walk properly. She consulted a senior doctor who could not find anything wrong with Kiran. Charles talked to her as she revealed that her daughter Varsha was having an arranged marriage. Taylor was surprised about the arranged wedding and Charles told her that the arrangement has been successful for centuries. Charles discovered that Kiran’s condition was due to the stress of her daughter’s wedding. Kiran did not want an arranged marriage for Varsha as her husband did not love her.
Meanwhile, Will took care of a patient who had been having issues after recovering from Covid 19. Dean and Marcel tried to save a baby out of a dead mother’s womb. Unfortunately, the baby could not survive and the grandparents consented to donate the organs. Marcel and Scott successfully performed the intestine transplant surgery to save Kayla.
Further, Scott treated a patient who got stabbed with a scissor. Milena called Scott and asked him to release the patient as he was an informant of her drug bust case. So, he changed his mind about prepping the man for surgery and discharged him. Moreover, Maggie got suspicious when the man returned with more injury. Scott realized that he should not have discharged the man. Sharon and Dean welcomed Dr. Hannah Asher to the hospital in Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 16.
