After being attacked together with Nurse Villanueva in the previous episode, Audrey Lim underwent surgery, and the episode will discuss what happened after that. Meanwhile, Savannah Welch and Brandon Larracuente’s characters’ roles as new interns at the hospital will witness an increase in responsibility.

Working together, the two were shown performing a heart transplant and the removal of a neck tumor. Shaun’s decision to have a xenotransplant did not sit well with Dr. Danica Powell. Because of their fight, Shaun was on the verge of firing her but decided against it. Park was taking care of a patient named Jeremiah, who was withdrawn and reserved. To help him with his increasing sociability, he requested Jordan and Danny to chat with him.
The surgery was performed on a pig because no human donor could be found. A matching human donor eventually arrived and saved the day before the medical staff could do the procedure. The doctors advise Jeremiah to mingle more, so he adopts Wilbur’s pig. We could observe their chemistry in the meantime. Lim also begins to blame Shaun for her situation since he did a hazardous procedure to save her liver but ended up paralyzing her.
