Huawei Announced a New Y Series Smartphone with an Amazing 48 MP Camera

The Huawei just introduce another super budget-friendly smartphone with an amazing camera and battery life. The Huawei Y7p works with the Kirin 710F SoC paired with 4 GB of RAM. It runs EMUI 9.1 based on Android Factory Pie and comes with 64 GB of onboard storage. There is also a microSD card slot, which allows storage expansion of up to 512 GB.

The Y7p is built around a 6.39 “HD + LCD that has a hole in the upper left corner for the 8MP selfie camera. On the back, you get a fingerprint reader and a triple camera setup, which is a combination of 48MP main, 8MP and 2MP ultra-wide depth sensor units.

The smartphone with Kirin 710F technology comes in Aurora Blue and Midnight Black colors and has a 4,000 mAh battery that consumes power through a 10W micro USB port.

The main camera system consists of a 48MP main camera with an ultra-wide 8MP camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Pretty standard things here. A selfie camera is an 8MP unit. It has the standard 4000 mAh battery that we have seen in many Huawei phones. This battery can be charged at 10W through a micro USB port.

While this exciting new phone runs on the EMUI 9.1 on Android 9 Pie, which is quite disappointing since many Huawei phones run Android 10. But in this price range, it is a great option with good and decent features. This phone was priced at 4,999 Thai baht (Kshs 16,000) which is similar to the price of the Y7 Prime. The low-budget smartphone market is quite competitive and Huawei needs a phone like this to compete effectively. In addition, the main camera and its CPU could be its combo of great functions to attract people to buy it.
