Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Royale has ping, trios, and helicopters

Call of Duty lovers!!! the Details about the rumored real battle mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone, continue to drip.

The latest details come from the Twitter user @CaptainBadfoot, who claims they were randomly thrown into the Warzone lobby, where “training” mode is available along with new menus that reveal something to expect from the mode.

A training mode video shows that Warzone will include a version of the “ping” system that Apex Legends popularized, and Fortnite added later. The Twitter user also found screens that show that there will be a variant of “Trios” where three people play together while fighting to be the last team standing. Warzone will also present single, double and quadruple.

He also posted an image of a screen that shows the vehicles that will be available in Warzone, which include ATV, SUV, helicopters, cargo trucks and tactical rovers. There will also be a resuscitation system and “supply stations” that you can buy that will air in matches, according to information from Captain Badfoot.

He said he entered the Warzone menu after playing the new multiplayer map, Rust. Unfortunately for CaptainBadfoot, this story has a sad ending. He said he was permanently banned from Modern Warfare because of these leaks.

Another ongoing rumor is that Warzone will be a real battle mode within Modern Warfare, as well as a free, independent game that everyone can download and access. Everything related to this is not confirmed at this stage since Activision has not made official announcements. A real battle mode will surely reach Modern Warfare, as the opening of the season 2 film confirmed it. In addition, the Modern Warfare title screen has been updated with a section called “Classified”, which is presumably a placeholder for Warzone.

Modern Warfare already has a large-scale mode in the form of Ground War, which supports 64 players. Before launching, Infinity Ward mocked that the game could support a 100-player mode at some point, and now it seems to be happening with a real battle mode. While you wait, you can check out the new opinion function of GameSpot where we discuss what we want to see in the battle royale genre in 2020.
