The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus has recently shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of The Walking Dead Season 10. The production for an additional six special bonus episodes has begun. Moreover, the star shared some glimpse of their pandemic-proofed set of The Walking Dead Season 10. Season 10 has recently announced special bonus episodes slated to air early next year, after the team wrapped up their final episode title, “A Certain Doom,” on October 4.
The plot of A Certain Doom pointed towards Maggie’s returns. However, she got a limited amount of screen. However, Maggie played a major role in the last episode. But, the whistle-stop premiere scene revealed earlier than expected. Although, it lighted many questions, such as what Maggie knows about the outer world apart from this zombie fight and surviving groups. But, the fans still have to wait to know those answers. The Walking Dead Season 10 finale also felt a little climatic, in which they had a stressful walking-with-walkers. Also, it has some warming moments between Carol and Daryl. While there’s a shift in nature of Gabriel, from a petrified priest to a pro-killing leader.
The Walking Dead Season 10: Norman Shared Some BTS Photos
In the virtual cast table reads, the cast announced that The Walking Dead Season 10 has two more special episodes aligned to premiere soon. Also, during the table read, they discussed what could happen in the upcoming season. Shortly after that, Norman Reedus shared a glimpse of the special episodes. He posted some pictures on Instagram this weekend.
Reedus Shows Some Georgia Set Glimpse
In his Instagram snaps, he posted some pictures of their personal protective equipment from the Georgia set of The Walking Dead Season 10. It shows that Season 10 special episodes have begun working on their new episodes. Now, the show has resumed its production during the crisis with some full-proofed protection set.
It shows the cast and the production team are super safe. After the camera starts rolling in October, Reedus revealed in his latest interview that there are so many rules they are currently following. He added that everyone is using masks and shields. Reedus continued to have a big scar on his face because of wearing masks for a long time. So, now he’s using a shield while others are using masks. Further, they often get a temperature check.
Production Subjected To Rapid Testing
Reedus continued that currently, they are subjected to thrice-weekly rapid testing. In which the cast wears hidden tracers inside their clothes. They can know the distance between the two performers and safely work while following the safety guidelines. The executive producer-showrunner Angela Kang said that the entire episodes are safely filmed.
Creator Announced Extended Season 10
The extended tenth season announcement comes after the delay in The Walking Dead Season 11. In September, Angela Kang said that The Walking Dead Season 10 is somewhat based on an anthological set. In which they would portray every character’s life and would delve deeper into their story. So, they have some more episodes to conclude which they left in the finale season. Everything then leads to the eleventh season.
The Walking Dead Season 10: When To Expect?
Well, the extended tenth season news came recently. AMC announced in September that the flagship series would conclude now. The creator revealed that the remaining left episode of the tenth season would release in late 2021 and 2022.
