Snowpiercer is one of those shows that haven’t been affected by COVID. In fact, the team has completed the filming for Snowpiercer season two. During the series’ appearance at the 2020 NY Comic-Con, TNT announced that the second season of the show would land on the network is probably a little more political and social landscape. Snowpiercer Season 2 is all set released on January 25, 2021, at 9 p.m. ET on TNT. The ten episodes of the first season will be available on HBO Max on January 1, 2021. What Will Happen in Snowpiercer Season 2?

The official synopsis of the show, Snowpiercer season 2, reveals that there will be a new power struggle in the second season of the show. This will lead to a dangerous rift that would divide the people between their loyalty to Layton and to Mr. Wilford. Mr. Wilford has a new train with new technology and a game plan that could keep everyone guessing. The synopsis also reveals that Layton will battle Wilford for Snowpiercer’s soul. Melanie also discovers something utterly shocking that could change everything about humanity.

In an interview with RadioTimes, Annalise Basso, who plays Lilah “LJ” Folger Jr., has confirmed that that won’t make that the train will not leave the set just yet. She says that she hopes that one day they will be able to take the viewers off the train. Basso says that she does not know if that will happen or what the budget will be like there, but maybe they could go to Iceland or Greenland for the exterior shots. She added that anyone who loves good sci-fi shows and great storytelling with amazing special effects, she hopes that they will fall in love with the show. She also thinks that people who have read the novel will appreciate the whole story. They have tried to maintain the integrity of the world.

Will There Be More Of Snowpiercer?

In an interview with Inverse, Basso also revealed that Snowpiercer would come back for a third season. In a statement, she said that they were almost done with the second season, and then everything shut down. She says that she got a call from the executive producer the other day. While she can’t give too many details, but she said that it’s good news. They are all just waiting for the show to the official start date for the third season. They are also hoping that they find some time to go back and finish the second season.
