The showrunner Eric Kripke has assured some craziest moments in the opening of The Boys Season 3. But it isn’t the most buzzed moment, “Herogasm,” though it remains to explore in the middle of the show. But Kripke promises that from the very beginning, the narration would pace in the same direction. Well, the series follows the corrupt company and its created supes. However, the world remains unaware of their true identity and corruption as they worship them as God or equivalent to them.
But, their one delicate act gave birth to the vengeance group “The Boys,” who oath to expose the supes group, Sevens. However, in the finale, Hughie left the group leading to the dismantling of The Boys. Meanwhile, Homelander lost his girlfriend and also beaten by the women of Sevens. Despite those heinous events, the Sevens seem to reunite, and this reunion might bring some insane moments on the screen.
The Boys Season 3: Showrunner Teased What To Come Next?
Speaking with EW, Kripke teased that some of the insane moments are aligned for the third run. He added that he believes the craziest thing they have ever done is in the first episode. Even those elements are beyond the “Herogasm” that says the dailies are bananas. However, he didn’t disclose much about the first episode. But Kripke noted that his jaw was always on the floor when he visits the blocks portraying those dailies. They were insane.
Well, Herogasm is inspired by the sixth issue of Garth Ennis comic book arc that’s nothing but a weeklong orgy. Kripke has been discussing adapting it since the first season. As mentioned, the supes imitate that they are heading for an outer space battle with aliens. But in reality, they fly to a remote island for an epic sex party. However, the story is set to explore in the sixth episode, but the series would build an extremely crazy story moving in that direction before that.
Will Supes Past Explore?
Supernatural alum Jensen Ackles has joined the third season as Soldier Boy, Vought International’s first superhero. The corrupt organization used the Compound V formula to create supes and told the world that they are God-blessed heroes. However, Kripke didn’t reveal whether or not the following season would follow the dual timeline.
But as mentioned in the comic book Soldier Boy, the first supes team Payback leader was active during the First World War. So we can see the past through Soldier Boy’s eyes. However, it would focus mainly on the present. But from time to time, it would delve into a little bit of the past and how the supes were created. For that, they have to go to America to narrate those past incidents, so it’s better to remain a nostalgic misconception.
