Queer Eye Season 6: Releasing Soon, Host Are In Texas To Turn In The Next “Queer Eye Hero”

Texas’ Fav Five are returning to change more lives for the better as Queer Eye Season 6 is returning to Netflix soon. And fans are ready to watch the kind-hearted hosts make their bid in making this world a better place. Netflix’s Queer Eye is a reboot of American reality series of the same name that premiered in 2013 on Bravo. 

Queer Eye follows a group of five LGBTQ stylists to help individuals achieve their physical and mental potential. All the hosts are experts in different fields. But they come together with the best of their skills for the good cause. Queer Eye has also won two Primetime Emmys. The reality series features social commentary while battling against toxic masculinity. It also serves a greater purpose of making a change in society. Not just that, the show has been successfully fighting traditionalism and Homophobia. 

Queer Eye Season 6: Teaser

Streaming giant Netflix announced via Instagram that the hit reality series is coming back for Queer Eye Season 6. In addition, Netflix also gave fans something to talk about in the form of a teaser for the upcoming season.   

In the teaser, we see the ‘Fab Five’ hosts of Queer Eye Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, and Antoni Porowski in the promo clip. Also, in the upcoming season they are headed towards Texas. In the teaser, fans can see the host dancing and wielding a lasso. They also gave us a glimpse of what promised to be a heartwarming ride in the next season.

What Will Happen In Queer Eye Season 6?

In the show, The Fab Five go on a mission to assist numerous men and women transform their inner and exterior selves. The “Queer Eye heroes” are either self-nominated or nominated by friends, family, and others. The show features several people, each with a different goal. These goals include boosting their confidence, finding love, coming out of the closet, and fixing their jobs, among other things. For that, Tan, Jonathan, Bobby, Antoni, and Karamo use their experiences to change the course of these ‘heroes’ lives.

For the Queer Eye Season 6, the hosts are headed to the land of cowboys, Texas. All of the show’s five hosts will make a return in the upcoming season. While talking about the sixth season, Bobby Berk stated that the season would feature some of the most emotional and heart-touching stories. He also spoke about the impacts of Covid on the sixth season. However, he promised that Queer Eye season 6 would leave us vibrant with all new “Heros” stories.

Queer Eye Season 6: Release Date

The fifth season of Queer Eye premiered on Netflix on June 5, 2020. All the ten episodes had a runtime of about 40 minutes each. Given the overwhelming response of the reality series, Netflix announced its renewal for Queer Eye Season 6 in March 2020 with a Tweet. Queer Eye generally releases two seasons in a year. However, the production of the sixth season was hampered by Covid19, causing a delay in release. 

One of the five hosts in the show, Bobby Berk, shared a post on his Twitter handle, confirming the release date for Queer Eye Season 6. The season will drop on Netflix on December 31, 2021. The news came as a surprise for fans, many of whom were expecting the season to release in 2022.
