Is Thorfinn From Ghosts A God?
Unlike Thor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Ghots’ Thorfinn is not some divine god, although he has some pseudo-lightning abilities. Thorfinn, the show’s eldest ghost, is a Viking who sailed to North America but was unintentionally left behind by his fellow Vikings. The real historical Viking trip took place roughly 1000 years ago. Therefore, Thorfinn has been deceased since the 1020s.
After getting hit by lightning, he was killed on the land that would eventually become Sam and Jay’s home. Leaving him with the supernatural abilities to make lights flicker. Thorfinn is a Scandinavian Viking inside out and would most likely want to fight alongside the eponymous God of Thunder Thor.

Is The Series Based On Real Events?
‘Ghosts’ isn’t based on a true story, to be sure. It’s a CBS adaptation of the British sitcom of the same name, developed by Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, and Ben Willbond also act as executive producers. In an interview, creators and showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman discussed discovering the original series.
The writers claim that the sitcom’s origins are unrelated to ghosts. The idea of having a collection of ghosts from different timeframes is a “wonderful vehicle to comprehend American history and culture,” according to Port. He also clarified that the show is not based on genuine ghosts. The sitcom’s parent show, BBC’s ‘Ghosts,’ is also not based on an actual occurrence.
According to the showrunners, the storyline in the comedy series is more important than the ghosts. Its main source of tension is the chaos that a group of spirits from different times might cause. The sitcom also demonstrates how people from many walks of life can coexist and work together for a shared goal. Despite the fact that ‘Ghosts’ is far from reality, it depicts human sentiments in a pleasant and entertaining way, disguised by ghostly garb.
