They wanted to be more eco-friendly with the show. Spencer added this partnership would let the islanders explore some shared wardrobes and pre-loved clothes provided by eBay. They want to inspire the audience and prompt an eco-friendly environment. This decision came out after the former contestant Brett Staniland questioned their priority for not going eco-friendly.
