My Dearest Episode 6: How Things Will Move Now?

In the closing moment, Jang promises Gil Chae that he will find her wherever she goes before suggesting she head to Ganghwa Island. Well, the enemies have already infiltrated their land, and now they need to escape the place. And the island is currently the safest place as it’s immune to war. So, Gil Chae and her fellow companies decide to sail to the island in My Dearest Episode 6. However, the other refugees also aim to leave the town, and since they only have one boat, a fight emerges at the sea bank. But to stop the mess, Gil Chae uses her blade to win the battle. Meanwhile, the General receives Jang’s letter informing him about the army’s condition. As for Ganghwa Island, the intruders have already infiltrated the island, and now Gil Chae and her family are in danger. She tries to save them but ends up losing all her women. On the other hand, Jang vows to protect Gil Chae and enters the battlefield.

A Quick Recap!

The previous episode began with Gil Chae surrounded by enemies. She almost lost all hope but was surprised to see Lee Jang Hyun, who managed to rescue her. However, during the rescue mission, Gil Chae called Jang “my dear,” which later surprised him. He started pushing her to reveal whether she had romantic feelings for him. But she continued to deny it. After a fierce conversation, Jang decided to leave the place. The following morning, Jang and his men left Gil Chae and the other women at the top of the hill, assuring them they were safe there. Later the three men headed on their journey when they found the rest of the soldiers. But they all were surprised to learn that the Young Master was dead. Jang then decided to join the soldiers in their mission and later headed to Mount Gwangyo, but not to save the King.

Meanwhile, Gil Chae and her family finally reached their home. But they later learned about the battle and decided to help the army by providing medical aid. Gil Chae didn’t want to continue supporting the poor, but she had a change of heart after witnessing the pain they were going through. Gil Chae and Jang later met again in the camp. But she remained stunned to see Young Master Yeon wounded. She cried and started blaming Jang for not caring for Young Master Yeon. Amid their fight, the physician revealed that Gil Chae did like Jang. However, the former refused to accept it. As the episode progressed, Jang returned to the battlefield, and finally, they managed to defeat the intruders. But they lost their King during the battle. On the other hand, others saw Jang as a foreign intruder and blamed him for everything.
