A Quick Recap!
After dealing with the arson case, Pil went to see his neighbor in the previous episode. But he was shocked to see the house as a mess, and the woman was nowhere to be found. He searched for the woman and later found her unconscious on the floor. Pil quickly called the cops, and later, the forensic team declared her dead. Although Pil was disturbed by this incident, he decided to investigate the matter. As the investigation began, he learned the victim didn’t share good relations with anyone. Thus nobody wanted to help him. At the forensic department, the doctor revealed that the woman had lost a lot of blood that had accumulated inside the stomach. But she sustained no physical injury despite her ribs being broken. Considering the severity of the case, the doctor sought an expert’s help.
The expert was Kang Doha, the new head of the NFS department. He examined the body and finally discovered the problem. But before disclosing the exact reason for her death, Kang requested to check the murder site. Meanwhile, Ho-gae investigated the matter in his own way. He learned the lady had several enemies, but he suspected four people disliked her the most. Ho-gae then befriended a little girl to uncover the murder mystery. However, Kang’s revelation surprised everyone. Hong and Kang called Ho-gae and revealed that the woman died from being hit by the rice cooker’s lid as it hit her stomach with immense pressure. It shocked Pil and Ho-gae, but they continued to investigate the case.
