Luke Geoge Evans was born in Pontypool, Wales, on 15 April 1979. His father’s name is David Evans, while Yvonne Evans is his mother. Evans spent the majority of his growing-up years in a small town named Aberbargoed in Rhymney Valley. Luke had no siblings, as he was the only child of his parents. He left school when he was 16 and moved to Cardiff to train under the direction of famous singing instructor Louise Ryan. Luke Evans’ journey as an actor began in the year 2000 when he starred in many of London’s West End productions like La Cava and Miss Saigon. Later in 2008, Luke starred in Peter Gill’s directed play Small Change, which was his first major break. Evans received a lot of applause from critics as well as the audience for his performance, even garnering him a nomination at Evening Standard Awards.
Meanwhile, in 2010 Evans made his feature film debut in the role of the Greek god Apollo in the Clash of The Titans. In the year 2012, Evan starred in a horror movie called No One Lives, directed by Ryuhei Kitamura. Alongside Emily Blunt, Evans appeared in the 2016 thriller The Girl on the Train. In the live-action Beauty and the Beast production by Disney the following year, he portrayed the evil Gaston. He played John Moore in the TNT television series The Alienist in 2018. Evans released, At Last, his debut studio album, in November 2019.
