A Quick Recap!

Previously, in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Episode 12, the trio bravely navigated through a snowstorm. However, after dealing with such a harsh condition, Frieren fell asleep and dreamt about her former party. But when she woke up, everybody was gone, and she returned to her current party to navigate to a safe location. After dealing with such weather, the trio finally reached the Village of the Sword. It was the same village where the great Sword of the Hero was placed. As per the lore, the Hero would take the sword out. However, many tried but failed to claim it out until Himmel arrived.

Things turned out his way as he beat the most powerful enemy, becoming the Hero for the people. The same thing happened with Stark. Everyone believed that he ran away when his home was attacked.
