As the Adult Swim’s animated series Rick And Morty Season 7 edges closer to its end, it brings another mega-adventure on the table. Well, this season has seen several challenging situations. However, this “cold-open” theme will take things to the next level when someone from the past pays a visit. But it will be a hilarious comeback. Rick And Morty Season 7 Episode 8 suggests that Rick’s old friend returns to seek his help. That will soon lead them to another big adventure where Morty isn’t allowed. Will it be Rick’s solo quest? Well, the previous episode has already hinted at Summer’s lone quest. So, now let’s see how they will pull off the cards in the eighth episode.
Rick And Morty Season 7 Episode 8: Trailer Hints At Ice-T Return!
Adult Swim has recently dropped the trailer of Rick And Morty Season 7 Episode 8, entitled “Rise Of The Numbericons: The Movie,” which hints at extending the second season’s “Get Schwifty.” The last time we have seen Rick forming a band with “Ice-T,” the alternate self of “Water-T.” However, it was later revealed that he was an alien cursed to be frozen because he didn’t save his people. The upcoming episode is picking up where the previous season left off. Water-T returns to his planet to apologize to his people. Fortunately, his father, Magnesium J, and hydrogen F forgive him, ending his exile period.
Just when he returns to his original form, Water-T, new maricons attack their planet, creating chaos among the people. The maricons’ commander orders his subordinates to kill everyone on the planet while the rest of their forces are on their way to invade. However, this invasion leads to the Alphabet’s King’s death. But before dying, he gives Water-T the prophecy that only a mathematician genius can solve it. Before starting the search operation, Water-T crushes his enemies and stops the rest of the team from infiltrating their planet in Rick And Morty Season 7 Episode 8.
The second Rick And Morty Season 7 Episode 8 preview clip shows planet Earth. Mr. Goldenfold returns to the picture as he is spotted teaching Morty and others. But he seems irritated because someone is playing rock music during his lecture. And surprisingly, this someone turns out to be Morty. While they have a little argument, Water-T enters the frame, hinting at his old rivalry with Mr. Goldenfold. But it looks like he is that maths genius who can save their planet. Rick and Morty will head to another standalone adventure to save their friend’s home.
A Quick Recap!
Previously, in Rick And Morty Season 7 Episode 8, Summer seemed busy cleaning up Rick’s mess. However, he refused to pay when she asked the price for doing his chores. After being rejected, Summer asked for an attribute slider as payment as she wanted to impress a boy with her strength at a Frisbee Golf party at night. However, Morty was jealous of this and started fussing around. He later argued with Rick, but the latter refused to give him the slider. Later, the siblings attended the party, where Summer impressed everyone with her strength. But Morty made a scene because he was jealous of his sister.
It later led to a fight between the two, and unfortunately, they ended up in a pool. But things became problematic as Morty fused onto his sister’s belly, becoming a Kuato. Feeling embarrassed, she rushed to see Rick and learned about a group with Kuatos. The group explained that it was a tight community that only parties. However, it was just a cover. They later kidnapped Summer and separated Morty from her belly. After learning Morty was in danger, Summer went on a killing spree, taking down the enemies to protect her brother. At the end of the episode, she saves Morty and returns home.
