Wednesday Season 2 Is Officially Renewed!
On January 6, 2023, Netflix surprised its fans as it renewed the popular spooky drama Wednesday for Season 2. Well, the renewal announcement came out as a no-brainer. That’s because the series became the most-watched English-language series on Netflix. In addition, it amassed 12 Emmy nominations. But it only won four for best costumes, makeup, original main title theme, and production design. Upon Wednesday Season 2 renewal, the streaming giant dropped a short announcement clip.

When Will Wednesday Season 2 Production Begin?
While the show was renewed for the second season in 2023, it went on hiatus for almost a year. That’s because of the dual Hollywood strikes in 2023, which slowed down the production of several American series, including Wednesday. However, you don’t have to fret now. Filming is underway. As per the reports, Wednesday Season 2 entered production in late April 2024. The filming will take place in Ireland, which was first scheduled to be filmed in Romania.
Although the series was scheduled to undergo production in late April, it eventually started filming in early May 2024. As soon as the production began, Miles Millar and Al Gough said they were thrilled that the entire Addams family would enroll in Nevermore Academy.
