As for Kim Ji-uk, he was finally liberated from all the promises he made to his mother, grandmother, and Son Hae-young’s mother. As the story progressed, Hae-young learned Kim Ji-uk was her mother’s last foster child.
This made her upset, and she visited her mother’s old house. Sadly, her mother didn’t remember her. After this incident, Hae-young tried to contact Nam Ja-yeon. However, the latter didn’t pick up her call, raising concerns for her. That was because Nam Ja-yeon’s abusive father- who killed Hae-young’s father- was released from prison.

Although Prime Video hasn’t yet renewed No Gain No Love Season 2, the show has returned with its spin-off series, Spice Up Our Love. The spin-off series was announced ahead of its premiere. Just after No Gain No Love wrapped up airing, its spin-off series started streaming on Prime Video on October 3. It focused on Nam Ja-yeon and how her life takes a drastic turn.
She finds herself as the main character of a web novel and encounters Bok Gyu-hyun. As the story progresses, Bok Gyu-hyun falls deeply in love with Nam Ja-yeon. However, they are the second lead of this storyline as the show focuses primarily on the love lives of Seo Yeon-seo and Kang Ha-jun.
They are the lead characters of Nam Ja-yeon’s webtoon, and throughout the show, it focuses on how the two characters fall in love. It isn’t a sophomore run for the show. But No Gain No Love fans can enjoy the series as it’s available on Prime Video.
