The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4: Boss Reveals Which Book They Will Adapt In Season 4

Netflix’s blockbuster hit legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer returned with the third season this year, bringing several elements of court and defense attorney Mickey Haller to our screen. The show undoubtedly gave justice to its source material. However, with the cliffhanger ending, many believe the streamer will return with The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4. Will it?

The show has already wrapped the Glory Days murder mystery, but the finale suggests that things will become challenging for Haller in the future. Does that mean there’s a possibility of its return? Let’s see!

Based on Michael Connelly’s novel series The Brass Verdict, The Lincoln Lawyer focuses on the defense attorney Mickey Haller. Throughout the series, he dealt with several crime cases. However, things turned dramatic in the third season when he worked on solving the mystery surrounding Glory Days. After Eddie Rojas’ death, Mickey learned that he had made a grave decision to work on this murder case. While devastated by his job, the attorney later entered a challenging situation.

Is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Renewed?

Unfortunately, not yet! The third season of The Lincoln Lawyer premiered on October 21 and quickly became one of the most-watched series on the streaming platform. Despite that, Netflix hasn’t yet renewed the series for the next run. However, series co-showrunner Ted Humphrey told TV Insider that the renewal decision is based on viewership numbers. They are all waiting for viewer numbers to see whether they can return with a fourth season.

He said the decision is in the audience’s hands. They are optimistic about the next season, how it depends on Netflix, and how the current season goes. The showrunner has also asked the fans and viewers to support the series if they want The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4. Humphrey said he has always wished to bring another season to its audience, but the final decision is on Netflix’s hands. However, there is a high chance that the show will return with another season.

That’s because shortly after its premiere, the third season topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 in the U.S. This is a good sign suggesting the show can return. However, the streamer typically takes a couple of months to renew the series. If you remember, the second season received greenlit after a month of its debut. Meanwhile, the third season was renewed in August 2023 after the first part of Season 2 aired in July. Considering this, the streamer might renew the show within a few months.
