In the third season, the Pogue’s search for El Dorado concluded. They reached deep into the forest with Sarah and John B. facing the toughest challenges ever. John B. and Sarah witnessed Big John and Ward’s deaths as they died while fighting against Carlos Singh and his men.
While the group dealt with all the challenges, the final scene featured a mysterious older man seeking the Pogues’s help. Although things remained skeptical initially, it was revealed he possessed a 1718 treasure manuscript. That later turned out to be the treasure of notorious pirate captain Edward Teach, known as “Blackbeard.”
Now, it seems like the group will work on finding the missing treasure. Outer Banks Season 4 trailer also shows that the scuba diving team will work together to find clues. But can they trust that older man? That’s because initially, dealers and backers appear as allies.
But they all end up backstabbing each other for their ulterior motives in this series. Meanwhile, the trailer suggests that JJ will face another challenge. His shop is on the family’s Maybank estate. However, if his father returns, it will create more challenges for JJ and his group.
If the latter loses control again, things will become challenging for him. This will result in a difference between JJ and Kiara. The Outer Banks Season 4 trailer also hints at JJ and Rafe’s feud. While it hasn’t revealed the reason, it suggests Rafe will lose his control. He might start crushing on Kiara or revisit his psychopathic tendencies once Sarah enters the picture. Either way, JJ will do his best to put Rafe in his place.

Will The Pogues Continue Their Mission When Their Family Enter The Picture?
The Outer Banks Season 4 trailer suggests that the Pogues will be over the Blackbeard treasure as they are running out of money. However, things will turn dramatic when their family enters the picture. Their family wants them to work on their academic futures. However, with money on play, it will become challenging for them to focus on their dreams.
Starting with Pope and Cleo will face a new set of problems. There’s no denying that their chemistry is the best. But Cleo’s free spirit nature will run into conflict with her boyfriend’s family. Pope’s family wants him to work on his grades and scholarship ambitions. But with this treasure drama, things will become more complicated.
The same will happen with Kiara as well. As for Sarah, she doesn’t have any family inheritance now, so her life will become more dramatic. Now, she needs to work on an errand like other members of the Pogues. Since she cheated on John in the previous season, how their relationship will be played off remains to be seen.
The other members of the group will work part-time. Since they need money, it seems like they will agree to find Blackbeard’s treasure. However, their trip will become more challenging, with Goon accosting Kiara. The trailer also features John B dirt-biking, suggesting he will do some daring job this season. Since the family theme is in play, Outer Banks Season 4 will focus more on epic chases.

However, they believe the ending might expand, and how long it would take to reach there could, too. They had already mapped the series’ ending and might take as long as possible to reach there.
