Amazon prime’s teen drama series is set to bring a whole new angle to the plotline with The Wilds Season 2. The first installment premiered on the network in December 2020. Further, the series earned positive criticism for its writing, storyline, and epic performances by the “Dawn of Eve ” program girls. Luckily, the series was renewed for the second season in late 2020, soon after the first season’s release. 

The Wilds has earned an impressive rating of 7.4/10 on IMDB and 92% on rotten tomatoes. It follows a group of teenage girls who get stranded on a deserted island. The girls are headed for the “Dawn of Eve” program in Hawaii. But their flight gets crashed into the ocean, leaving them on the island.

Unfortunately, the girls are aware that they are a subject of a social experiment being conducted on the island. Their every moment is surveilled by an unknown entity named Gretchen Klien. Meanwhile, the timeline travels back and forth in time depicting the girls’ past events and two FBI officers interviewing the survivors in the future. Renewal And Production Status!

Amazon Prime Video confirmed the series for a second season weeks after the first one’s premiere in December 2020. The second season was announced through a video on Instagram, with the girls breaking out the news to the fans. However, the production of The Wilds Season 2 faced a few setbacks due to pandemic delays.

Moreover, the filming location was also shifted from New Zealand to Queensland due to the pandemic guidelines. But fortunately, the filming for The Wilds Season 2 wrapped up in August 2021. As the first season progressed, the girls slowly started doubting the presence of other people on the island. Towards the end, Leah discovered that the “Dawn Of Eden” were not the only ones stranded on the island. She figured that they were being watched. So, she secretly escaped from her room and found a secret surveillance area with screens showing a group of teen boys. She also came across a file on the desk which read “the Twilight Of Adam.” Thus, the next season will bring a whole new angle to the plotline. After discovering the boys, it seems possible that Leah and the girls will try to find them.

Meanwhile, if the group comes together, they will try to unravel the mystery behind the program. Also, they will attempt to find Gretchen Klien. Moreover, the mysteries surrounding Nora, Rachel, and Martha will also reveal in the second season. The creators have also revealed a list of teen boys that will feature in the next installment.

The new group of cast members was announced in May 2021. The stars debuting on The Wilds Season 2 will be Zack Calderon as Rafael Garcia, Aidan Laprete as Henry Tanaka, Nicholas Coombe as Josh Herbert, and Charles Alexander as Kirin O’Conner. Cobra Kai Season 4 is yet to premiere on Netflix. However, the show is far from over, as the fifth season of the popular series is already in the works. Showrunner Jon Hurwitz has confirmed that the filming for the fifth season, which began a couple of months back in September, is now about to finish.

Hurwitz revealed the information while interacting with the show’s fans on Twitter. He said that the production is underway for the last episode of Cobra Kai Season 5. Although refusing to share any more details about the next season, Jon said, “whatever I’d say would be a spoiler.“

Cobra Kai Season 4: First Look Teasing More Drama

Season three of Cobra Kai left fans were eagerly anticipating the announcement of Cobra Kai season 4. Finally, on September 25, Netflix shared the first teaser for the fourth installment in this martial arts saga. The promo clip was captioned as the battle for the soul of the Valley reawakens. “New alliances. Higher than ever stakes.” But who will take it all at the All Valley Tournament? However, Kreese’s deal with Terry Silver may alter the course of the upcoming season. We also expect to see more of Tory and Samantha’s rivalry in the next season.

A while before the third season’s release, Netflix announced the renewal of Cobra Kai Season 4 on October 2, 2020. However, after suffering delays because of Covid 19, the filming of the fourth season finally began in February 2021. One of the prominent cast members in the show, William Zabka, tweeted on May 1, 2021, confirming that he had finished shooting for his part. And the third season suffered a massive blow because of this. 

During 2019 and 2020, the showrunners for the series also changed. David Scarpa and Paul Scheuring, who replaced Cuse, both left after short spans. Finally, in January 2020, Vaun Wilmott became the showrunner for Jack Ryan Season 3. According to reports, the filming resumed in March 2021 and finished in October 2021. In the fifth season of Better Call Saul, we saw Jimmy marrying Kim while he transformed into Saul Good Man. A few months back, actor Bob Odenkirk got hospitalized after collapsing on the set of Better Call Saul Season 6. However, according to the actor, this wasn’t the only time he found himself in a dangerous situation, working on Better Call Saul. 

In March 2020, Variety interviewed Bob Odenkirk after season 5’s production finished. While talking about filming the end of the fifth season, the actor said, “I almost got killed doing one of these episodes.” He further added that just shooting the entire thing almost killed him. The actor was talking about the ninth and tenth episodes of season five. He revealed just how tough it was, filming the 2020 season.

Netflix’s Mexican mystery-thriller Who Killed Sara Season 3 has been one of the most anticipated Non-English series this year.
