It’s been two years when we last saw Natasha Lyonne’s Nadia Vulvokov struggling to break free of a time loop. However, in Russian Doll Season 2, Nadia might experience the same but different periods, or we can say a parallel universe. The series has garnered many Emmy noms in 2019 and won four awards for creativity, narration, costume design, and cinematography.

While Natasha Lyonne returns as Nadia Vulvokov, there’s a high chance that Charlie Barnett could return as Alan Zaveri. As for Charlie’s returns, Natasha said that Alan and Nadia are naturally and strangely connected. Thus, it confirms Charlie will pop up in some episodes. Apart from them, Schitt’s Creek’s actress Annie Murphy was confirmed to join the second season. However, her role is yet to disclose.

Besides, District 9 alum Sharlto Copley joined the show while Romeo and Juliet star Carolyn Michelle Smith will appear in a recurring role. Other regular members include Greta Lee as Maxine and Yul Vasquez as John Reyes. In addition, Rebecca Henderson as Lizzy will join Elizabeth Ashley as Ruth Brenner. Annie Murphy Talks About Her Role

Speaking to Parade, Annie shared her views on her role and how long she will stay in this season. Annie said her role in Russian Doll is quite different from Schitt’s Creek’s Alexis Rose. Annie added she is excited about the second run. However, Natasha keeps on checking whether or not she kept her role under wrap. “It’s top-secret,” Annie says, so she can’t reveal more about her character.

Russian Doll Season 2: Production Has Begun!

While the series debuted in 2019, it took almost two years to go under production (all thanks to COVID-pandemic). However, production began in March 2021 and is currently underway. Speaking of which, Annie said that she had a wonderful time filming her scenes. She added that she shot in the subway and also drove a sports car in SoHo’s streets. Further, some of her shoots were in a brownstone on the Upper West Side. Annie continued that she loved working with Natasha and had a fantastic experience.

Russian Doll Season 2: Might Explore The Parallel World Concept

In the first season, Nadia is stuck in a time loop where she meets Alan, who’s facing the same situation. However, he was experiencing the same time loop trouble in a different frame. So probably the two belong to two different worlds and encounter their alternate versions. Further, there’s a fan theory that probably Nadia will travel back in time and experience the same time loop situation. So possibly there once again she might find Alan.

Renewal And Production Status

Netflix renewed the series for a second run in July 2021, a month after the release of the first season. Moreover, the writing for the second season is currently underway. The filming for the second season is slated to start in January 2022 and finish by May 2022. What Will Happen In Sweet Tooth Season 2?

‘Archer’ Season 13: Release Date

Right now, there is no official confirmation about the premiere date of Archer Season 13. But, we hope that fans’ wait for the show’s release soon comes to an end. According to a report from Deadline, FXX’s Spy comedy-drama Archer will return for season 13 in 2022. 

The upcoming season will consist of a total of 8 episodes. Knowing that the series generally maintains a gap of around a year between its two seasons, and the twelfth season of Archer finished in October 2021. Therefore, we can expect Archer Season 13 to release in the latter half of 2022.

How Archer Bid Adieu To Malory?

The season finale for Archer season 12 aired on October 5. And it ended with an emotional goodbye. The series bid farewell to one of its leading characters, Malory Archer. The previous Executive Officer of ISIS and the mother of Sterling Archer Malory Archer was voiced by late Jessica Walter. 

Unfortunately, the 80-year-old Emmy-winning actress passed away on March 24, 2021. Although Jessica finished most of her recording for Archer season 12 before her demise. Malory also appeared briefly in the season finale saving her son from the kidnappers. In the ending, Malory disappeared, leaving behind a letter for her son. In the letter, she wrote that “I’ve decided it’s time to pass the torch. Try not to burn yourself with it. And I know my decision may seem abrupt, but we don’t always get to choose the perfect moment. From wherever I am, I will be watching over you.”  

Meanwhile, Casey Willis, the Executive producer of the series, revealed how they made the ending beach scene possible. They scavenged through all of Walters’ dialogue from the entire series and created a piece that was well suited for her farewell.

It’s a trip down memory lane! Disney+ has announced a documentary series: The Beatles Get Back, featuring the story of one of the most iconic musical bands in the history of Pop Culture. Academy award-winning director Peter Jackson is directing the Three episodes mini docuseries. 

The Beatles: Get Back premiered its first official trailer on October 13. It will follow The Beatles, as they work to create 14 new songs for their first live show in over two years. Sadly, it will also be the band’s final live performance.

The three-part docuseries, set to premiere in November on Disney+, will follow John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Sir Ringo Starr. They write and rehearse 14 new songs in preparation for the band’s first public performance in almost two years.

The Beatles Get Back Release Date

The three episodes documentary series titled ‘The Beatles Get Back’ will release its episodes on Disney+ on November 25, 26, and 27th, respectively, just in time for the Thanksgiving season. And The Beatles fan can’t thank the creators of the series enough for giving them a reason to rejoice. 

The Beatles’ rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row, as well as other songs and legendary compositions from the band’s final two albums, Abbey Road and Let It Be, are included in this docuseries for the first time.

Meanwhile, the series is a joint venture of The Beatle and Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson. Walt Disney Pictures and Apple Corp produced the series. It will give an insight into the coming together of the musicians to form The Beatles. And how they became a global phenomenon.

Disney plus released the trailer for three episode mini docuseries centering on The Beatles on October 13. And the four minutes long trailer took the internet by storm. The trailer starts with the famous audio track ‘Don’t Let Me Down.’ Then, we see the band members together in the clip. The trailer also reveals about that 57-hour footage used in the series, which was kept locked in vaults for around fifty years.

‘The Righteous Gemstones’ Season 3 Confirmed!

Yes! You read it right! HBO’s comedy-drama series surrounding world-renowned evangelists with a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work is confirmed for season 3. ‘David Gordon Green and Jody Hill created The Righteous Gemstones. 

David Gordon Green revealed in an interview that, even though The Righteous Gemstones Season 2 Is yet to be broadcast, HBO has picked up the acclaimed series for a third season. And as of now, the network is working on ideas to focus on in the next run.

In addition to confirming the third season, David Gordon Green also revealed that Season 2 has recently concluded filming, describing the season as “huge” and “an enormous half-hour comedy, unlike anything the world has seen. Gordon also expressed that his experience of making the series is much like that of making the Halloween sequel. 

‘The Righteous Gemstones’ Season 2 Premiere Date
