This episode will explore some global concerns like rising pollution and global warming with a twist of sci-fi. Rick and Morty hid in their spacecraft from acid rain in the trailer to protect their unique t-shirts.

However, an anthropomorphic rodent appears who calls himself “Diesel Weasel,” claiming to create more chaos. But, fortunately, he will be stopped by a green-skinned superhero who looks quite similar to Captain Planet. So it seems like both Rick and Morty have traveled back in time. Perhaps for those t-shirts, as they wanted to save it from the acid rain. Meanwhile, we can expect some funny and adorable moments in Morty’s life.

Well, the promo hints at a new budding love in Morty’s life. As we can see, Morty will be fascinated by the superhero who is busy battling with Diesel Weasel. So, he will use this opportunity to pursue his crush by taking a superhero identity. But, as usual, Morty’s plan might have its own drawback that would reveal his true identity. Since then, the four of them live together under a single roof dealing with other forces and problems.

Recently, Harvey teased that the show will instantly begin with where they left off in the last run. So, fans could see the prompt reaction of the housemate vampires. However, the vampires have found out that Guillermo is a vampire-slaying prodigy and his lineage with Van Helsing. So now, things will change, and it could be possible that Guillermo will become the center of the conflict.

Meanwhile, it could change Guillermo’s relationship with the other vampires. However, in a press release, the showrunner teased that the third season will see the vampires on a different level. As their powers will elevate to a whole new level leading them to encounter their ascendant. It indicates that they might accept Guillermo’s past and support him, which would cause trouble in their lineage.

New Love Interest In Nandor’s Life

In July 2020, executive producers Stefani Robinson and Paul Simms announced at Comic-Con at Home panel that some new mystical creatures will introduce in the upcoming season. Even Harvey has recently spilled that an enigmatic Siren would join the show.

However, he didn’t reveal who’d play the role and more details about the character. But we can expect that siren will be Nandor’s potential love interest, as Nandor is more naive than other vampires and could be an easy target for the siren. So he could easily fall victim to Siren’s lukewarm seduction and songs.

Other Supernatural Critters Revealed

The showrunner has previously confirmed that at least three to four new mystical critters will become a part of the third season. Out of them, one that has been notably revealed is a hellhound, whom these vampires will handle for one complete episode.

Besides hellhounds, gargoyles’ presence has been highly teased during the Comic-Con at Home panel. Even at one point, there was an active discussion about the leprechaun. But the idea was dropped soon as the show and leprechaun both belong to different worlds.

Based on A Killing On Carnival Row, Amazon Prime’s Carnival Row is created by René Echevarria and Travis Beacham. It follows some mythical creatures who left their war-torn homeland. However, tensions are broiling between the growing immigrants and citizens of the city. At the center of this drama, a series of murder cases strings social adjustments, uneasy peace, and uncertain love.

Carnival Row Season 2: Has Production Begun?

Carnival Row Season 2 was renewed in July 2019, a month before the first season landed on the streaming platform. However, in the wake of COVID-19, the series had received plenty of setbacks, resulting in extended delays in filming. Production on the second season began in November 2019. But it halted in March 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic.

However, when the production team commenced preparations to resume filming in the first week of May, Amazon had yet to announce the resumption of the series. Soon it was reported that the series was only three weeks away to wrap up. Production resumed in May 2021 in the Czech Republic to wrap up the remaining scenes. Eventually, it didn’t take much time to conclude the filming. However, it would take some more time to wrap the post-production.

Carnival Row Season 2: Who Will Be In The Cast?

The majority of the cast is most likely to return. These include Orlando Bloom as Rycroft Philostrate “Philo” and Cara Delevingne as Vignette Stonemoss. In addition, David Gyasi as Agreus Astrayon will return with Tamzin Merchant as Imogen Spurnrose. Besides, Andrew Gower as Ezra Spurnrose, Arty Froushan as Jonah Breakspear, and Karla Crome as Tourmaline Larou will also return.

However, deeming how things concluded in the first season, apparently, we won’t see Indira Varma as Piety Breakspear and Jared Harris as Absalom Breakspear. As in the finale, the government ordered a segregation plan to separate the magical creatures from the rest of the people. However, Philo confronted that he too is half magical creature and decided to join Vignette in the ghetto.

Thus, it would explore Philo and Vignette’s life in the ghetto and what happened to the magical creatures in the past. Elsewhere, Agreus and Imogen sailed to a safe place in the final moments of the first season. However, they refused to return when the authorities ordered their ship back. Thus, it remains unclear how things would move in Imogen and Agreus’ life. Are they safe? There’s a slight possibility that someone might follow them on their path.

Carnival Row Season 2: When Will It Release?

As of now, Amazon Prime Video hasn’t announced the release of Carnival Row Season 2. However, the first season took almost 17 months to land on the network after wrapping up the filming.
