New Amsterdam Season 3: Has Filming Concluded For The Third Run?

Although the second season wrapped up in March 2020 yet the production for the next season received many delays. The filming on the third season received numerous delays due to the ongoing pandemic following the production shutdowns. However, to begin its filming Covid-safe, they had also built new sets to film the third season. Fortunately, in late 2020, the team returns to the set.

Further, a few weeks ago, the network shared some pictures of the cast dealing with the pandemic. Now, the show is in post-production, so nothing to worry about it. Well, the previous two seasons has achieved strong ratings. It reached 45 million viewers over the past two seasons. So hopes are high with the third season as well.

New Amsterdam Season 3: What To Expect From The Next Season?

The NBC press release teased when Dr. Max would join New Amsterdam; as he usually asks, “How can I help?” But, in the third season, Max and his teammates will face the terrifying task of staying optimistic while dealing with the COVID-19. It will soon follow the flaws in health care. However, instead of fixing the system, Max will build something better from tearing it apart.

Further, New Amsterdam Season 3 exclusive first look revealed, which teased that one character will incur COVID-19. Even it would explore more about Helen Sharpe, including Helen’s personal life. However, all these revelations would surprise Helen’s closest friend at the hospital. But, the main thing is the pandemic will force everyone to rework their lives following a departure of a character.
