American Horror Story is a story that keeps giving and giving. With the latest and the ninth season of the series out, we are all wondering what’s next for American Horror Story Season 10. The American Horror Story Season 10: The Theme Might Have Changed

In a recent interview, Ryan Murphy revealed that the theme for The American Horror Story Season 10 might change due to the production delay. In the interview, Murphy revealed that the season theme needed a summer beach setting. He says that a lot of what they were going to shoot for the season was dependent on a specific moment. It was all weather-dependent theme. So now, he does not know. He has no idea of where they will go and what they would do next in the show.

Murphy added that he does not know if he would accelerate another season or wait another year to work on this theme. This means that all the information we had about the tenth season will moot if the original theme of the show gets postponed to the eleventh season. But we know for sure that this eerie beach setting Murphy has in mind, it will eventually happen.

Many Familiar Faces Are Coming In

On February 26, Ryan Murphy officially announced the cast for American Horror Story Season 10. The video was set to Orville Peck’s Dead of Night as the names of all the cast members flashed on the screen against the crashing waves. Per the video, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters are coming back for the new season. Both of them were missing from the ninth season. Other faces we would get to see in the upcoming season will be Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Lily Rabe, and Finn Wittrock.

Along with them, viewers will also get to see Macaulay Culkin who will also join the cast the first time since he appeared in an episode of Dollface back in 2019. In September 2020, Sarah Paulson spoke about Culkin working on the new season of the horror show. She teased an exciting arc for his character and how she will working with him.

In an interview with Collider, Paulson said, Murphy had teased that he wants to reunite all the fan favourites. So, maybe we will get more. She confirmed that they are working on the idea of the tenth season and she thinks fan will love it. The show is bringing in a number of fan-favourites.

In November, Murphy told Deadline that he has been reaching out to a few people out quietly. He has a role for all of them. So far everyone he has reached out to have said yes. So, that is going great. When asked for more details, Murphy teased that the people who helped the show build into what it is, the people who believed in the show right from the beginning will be in the cast.

Release Date

In June 2020, Hollywood Reporter reported that The American Horror Story Season 10 will not premiere until 2021. Production Status Of The Third Season!

Both installments of this superhero drama got a tremendous response from the viewers as well as the critics. Therefore, Netflix decided to renew the show for its third season on November 10, 2020. Currently, the makers are working on its pre-production.

The first two films in this franchise received a great response from the critics. Plus, it managed to gross $1.1 billion with a combined budget of $114 million. The main concern is the makers already concluded the story of Pennywise when the members of the Losers club ripped out his heart. 

If Skarsgard returns with the role of Pennywise in the third installment, then there won’t be any importance in the storylines of the first two films. The writer Gary Dauberman also thinks the same. However, there are some possibilities that the fans will see some spin-off stories in the near future. The best bet is that Andy decides to explore the mythologies of Pennywise for making the third film in the franchise.

This spin-off series is called ‘Painkiller’ and will star Jordan Calloway as he reprises his eponymous character. Salim Akil will act as the writer, executive producer, and director of the spin-off.

Jordan is coming in to play Khalil Payne, a man who is very guilty of his troubled past from his life in Freeland City. He was a super enhanced killing machine called painkiller. He was both a weapon of Agent Odell and a member of Tobias Whale’s gang. After trying to bury his past, the darker and devastating Painkiller part of his personality, Khalil distances himself from everyone. He comes to a new city- Akashic Valley to find peace. However, peace isn’t something men like Khalil who have had such troubled pasts find very easily.

As the violent, destructive past starts clashing with this fresh start, Khalil gets back into action with his new mission. He has to bring justice in the place where he once was the punisher. But, in order to do that, he will have to deal with his dark side. Painkiller first appeared in the comics back in 1995 and is based on characters by Tony Isabella and Eddie Newell.
