The title of Doom Patrol Season 2 Episode 8 is “Dad Patrol.” It will be the penultimate episode of the second season. Meanwhile, Niles plans a special day for Dorothy, who hides a secret development from her declining father. And Cliff gives father/daughter bonding with Clara, his best shot. Doom Patrol Season 2 Episode 8: Release Date

The viewers should prepare themselves because the upcoming episode will blow everyone’s mind. The stakes are definitely high in the penultimate chapter. Episode 8 will air on Thursday, July 30, 2020, on DC Universe and HBO Max. 

It has been more than 30 years since we last saw Tom Cruise in his US Navy fighter uniform for Top Gun. Since then, all fans of the movie have hoped that they would get more of the movie. Top Gun Maverick Delayed, Again!

Top Gun: Maverick has been delayed again. Originally scheduled to release in July 2019, the movie was delayed a year to give the cast and crew more time to film the action sequels. All these action sequences were to be done without CGIs. After this push back, Paramount pictures announced that Top Gun: Maverick would release on June 26, 2020. Then again, keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic, the film was postponed to December 23, 2020. Keeping in mind that theaters don’t seem to open again anytime sooner, creators have postponed the release to July 2, 2021. 

The Delay Is Perhaps Good

While so many schedule changes feel frustrating to all the film fans, this delay looks good. Top Gun: Maverick releasing in July seems great for the film. July is the peak of the summer season, and Top Gun is kind of a summer movie, so it just feels right. The first film of the franchise released in May and was a summer blockbuster. Top Gun: Maverick is set in the San Diego setting, and that would make more sense if fans got to watch it with warm weather outside. 

Top Gun: Maverick has been able to take up the whole summery vibe. With volleyball scenes and songs like “Playing With The Boys” and “Hot Summer Nights,” it wouldn’t have felt the same watching it with freezing temperature outside. 

Also A Financial Decision!

With the whole summer vibe said, the film’s delay is also a financial decision. Top Gun: Maverick is a big-budget movie. It has incredible action scenes and could be a summer blockbuster movie. That also aligns with the image Tom Cruise has after the first movie. So, it is a financially sound decision that Top Gun: Maverick has made. It isn’t guaranteed that the theaters would open by December. Even if they do, it seems less likely that they would open in during capacity. That means new Top Gun’s earning potential would be cut short.  

Top Gun: Maverick will indeed see Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer reprise their roles as Maverick and Iceman, Because come on, would there be a Top Gun without their rivalry? Director Joseph Kosinski is quite tight-lipped about what would happen in the movie. However, we do know that we will get to see the evolved relationship between Maverick and Iceman after thirty years. This delay is sure a bit painful, but all we know is, it will be worth it. New Sneak Peek For Vikings Season 6

Recently the creator, showrunner, and writer of Vikings Season 6- Michael Hirst appeared at Comic-Con@Home2020. In the Comic-Con, he talked about the upcoming part of the show. While talking about it, the creator allowed everyone, including cast members- Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Alexander Ludwig, Jordan Patrick Smith, and Clive Standen to look back at everything that has happened so far on the show. Moderated by Kate Hahn, the senior writer at TV Guide, the Vikings panel took everyone back to the first five and this half-season 6.

They revisited the Lothbrok clan’s rose and fell from power. While talking about everything that has happened on the show, Hirst also revealed that they have already decided all characters’ fate. Vikings Season 6 Part 2: What Will Happen?

Along with the hint about the conclusion, fans of the show also got to see a few things that might happen in the upcoming batch of episodes. The clip features Prince Oleg and Prince Igor preparing for the upcoming battle. Ivar, being as impatient as he is, suggests to Hvitserk that instead of taking Christian priests’ blessings, they should maybe make a sacrifice. However, things quickly change when they recognize a lone horseman coming there way. This horseman is none other than Bjorn Ironside. This arrival catches Ivar by surprise. This particular incident sets up the plot for a reunion for the Lothbrok brothers.

When Would It Release?

Vikings Season 6 in total has 20 episodes. Of these 20 episodes, ten have already made it to our screens. The mid-season finale of the season left all the viewers with some big questions that the second half would answer. But when will it come? Unfortunately, we do not have any solid information about that. However, the creators revealed that they would be bringing these episodes by the end of 2020.

The upcoming season will be the final batch of episodes of the series. However, the creators haven’t revealed why they are canceling it. We can assume the reason for this cancellation could be because of the historical records. Since there is no material left for the show, and if they continue to tell the story, it would just be fictional. However, fans will get more of the drama in the form of spin-off series, so wait up.

Cast Celebrates The Renewal!

The cast of the Outer Banks is among the happiest persons present after the renewal. They celebrated the confirmation of Outer Banks Season 2 by posting several photos on their social media accounts. But the thing which catches the most attention of the fans is the fun-video uploaded by the cast members. On July 24, 2020, Netflix renewed the following season, and right after the announcement, the celebration began. One of the showrunners, Jonas Pate, informed the fans that he already started working on it. In his recent interview, he said, “Netflix had allowed us to write some second season scripts, so we’ve been operating on that for a few months now.”

Outer Banks Season 2: Plot Details!

The second season will kick-off right after the cliffhanger ending of the inaugural season. John B and Sarah managed to survive the storm. Apart from this, the showrunner announced that Netflix is looking to expand the journey of The Dragon Prince. The announcement came on Friday afternoon when the cast and co-creators were answering their fans’ questions. Last year, the creators expressed that they were looking at this fantasy animated series as the saga. The Dragon Prince, created by Justin Richmond and Aaron Ehasz, is a fantasy adventure drama series on Netflix. The series set in the fictional continent of Xadia, where magic is everything. Recently, at the San Diego Comic-Con@Home’s panel, The Dragon Prince co-creators Aaron Ehasz disclosed that Netflix renewed the fourth season. But, this isn’t over yet. The streamer has confirmed to stream the entire saga of The Dragon Prince. It means Netflix ordered The Dragon Prince for four more chapters, including the finale. The announcement came as music to everyone’s ears, and it can be seen through the cast faces. When Aaron revealed this exciting news, the entire cast was amazed and excited to start work on it. On which Aaron stated: “We’ve got a lot of work to do.”

Fans Started Campaign For The Saga

In 2019, The Dragon Prince fans started a campaign focused on renewing the entire saga. The fans began posting on Twitter using the hashtag #giveusthesaga. And it seems that Netflix was pretty amazed by this campaign and fortunately the plans worked out well. Further, the animation is one of the things which can be started remotely in this pandemic. In the San Diego Comic-Con@Home’s panel, the showrunner Angela Kang revealed the major updates of The Walking Dead Season 10. Further, the producer Greg Nicotero has teased that the upcoming finale would be more thrilling than what fans had expected. However, the production updates haven’t revealed yet. But, the production and the narration team are working to resume their filming for the final episode. The tenth season finale abruptly held because of the current health crisis. Fortunately, the long wait is now over as the showrunner revealed the finale premiere date.

The Walking Dead, created by Frank Darabont, is a horror zombie apocalypse series on AMC. The series is based on Tony Moore, Charlie Adlard, and Robert Kirkman’s comic book series. It focused on the large group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse who are trying to survive from their attacks. In the series, zombies are referred as walkers. The Walking Dead Season 10: When Will Finale Air?

Earlier, the finale was scheduled to air on April 12, 2020, in the U.S. But, the filming left in the middle because of the Coronavirus outbreak. Recently, in the Comic-Con@Home’s panel, the showrunner revealed that finale would air on AMC on October 4, 2020, in the U.S. However, U.K. fans don’t have to wait for the finale more. As the episode would air on the next day after airing in the U.S. That means, the finale would premier on Monday on October 5 on FOX.

More Of Season 10 For Fans

Get ready for another batch of season 10. In the SDCC panel, The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang revealed that there would be six more episodes waiting to air in 2021. She confirmed that season 11 has to wait now since they plan to split the tenth season into two halves. The first batch has wrapped up airing, while the other batch of six episodes would premiere somewhere in 2021. She further disclosed that they are working on those episodes along with the finale one.

Angela said: “We will not be airing season 11 episodes this year as we normally would in October, but we’re excited to announce an extended season 10. There will be six extra episodes to follow the finale. Those will run in early 2021 if all goes well. We’re working on those now and will have more to share soon.”

Scripting Done For Second Half

In the Comic-Con@Home panel, Angela revealed that the writers’ team has been working remotely on the eleventh season script. Though they weren’t able to start filming for their leftover episodes, the filming would begin soon. If writers are working on season 11 script, then it’s clear that the second half of season 10’s writers’ work has finished.

Angela said: “The writers’ room for season 11 has been going remotely the past few months. We haven’t been able to start production, but we will get back to work as soon as we safely can.”

HBO’s fantasy drama- His Dark Materials completed the first season that released in November 2019. The show did exceptionally well. In fact, the productions were so confident about the show that His Dark Materials Season 2 was renewed even before the first season released. The show is produced by Bad Wolf and New Line Productions for HBO and BBC One. It is based on novels by Philip Pullman with the same name.

The show is set in a multi-world reality with the whole thing moving from one world to another. The story starts in an alternative world; all humans there have animal companions called- dæmons. According to the novel, Lyra finds out a dangerous secret that has something to do with Marisa Coulter and Lord Asriel. While she searches for her missing friend, Lyra also finds out about a series of kidnapping and uncovers them. All of this has some time to do with a mysterious substance called Dust. Teaser Out! What’s Coming Up?

Recently HBO released the first look trailer for their new series His Dark Materials Season 2. The trailer looks at the mysterious city of Cittàgaze. The official synopsis for the season reveals that the show will focus on a bridge that Lord Asriel had opened to a new world. Lyra, who is distraught because of her best friends’ death, follows Asriel there, into the unknown. 

In that strange and very mysterious city, Lyra meets Will, who is also a part of our world and is running from his troubled past. Later on, the two will understand that their destinies are tied. Lyra will help Will finding his father. However, their path isn’t a cakewalk. The War has begun around them, and hence their path has become very difficult. In the meantime, Mrs. Coulter is searching for Lyra. She is determined to bring her home in any way she can.

Major Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Andrew Scott Reunion For Season 2

Recently, His Dark Materials Season 2 released the first-look trailer that confirmed that Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Andrew Scott are reuniting for the second season. The duo has recently impressed audiences with their chemistry in Waller-Bridge’s dark comedy- Fleabag. In His Dark Materials Season 2, both of them will come in to enjoy a new relationship as a human and a dæmon. In the recent Comic-Con@Home, actor Andrew Scott revealed that Waller-Bridge would come in for a small voiceover role in the show. She is coming in as John Parry’s osprey dæmon Sayan Kötör. 

Announcing the update, Scott said that what he finds beautiful about these books is its relationship with dæmons. He went on to say that they indeed are revealing this for the first time. His dæmons will be played by someone he is very close to, even in real life. Introducing the face he said, she is a young performer and a writer called- Phoebe Waller-Bridge. He went on to say that the relationship is all about friendship, companionship, and loyalty. He finds that both Phoebe and he share that in their personal relationship and that it is wonderful that it was happening. 

James McAvoy’s Episode No Longer A Part Of His Dark Materials Season 2

Recently at Comic-Con@Home, executive producer of His Dark Materials- Jane Tranter revealed that His Dark Materials Season 2 would feature seven episodes and not eight. Initially, it was planned that the season would have seven episodes and a standalone episode that would act as James McAvoy’s main appearance for the second season. However, now that doesn’t seem possible. 

The whole His Dark Materials team has been incredibly lucky when it comes to production. They had already completed the seven seasons before 2019 ended. The main unit had wrapped up before Christmas 2019, and the only thing to shoot was the standalone episode, which isn’t connected to these seven episodes. Then lockdown happened and paused everything. So, the creators decided to continue the post-production on the seven episodes that would make up the original content from the book and drop the standalone episode. However, that is not it. It is very much possible that later on sometime, they would revisit the standalone episode. 

After the way the third season of the show ended, all fans of Dear White people are on the edge of their seats and desperately waiting for Dear White People Season 4. Netflix has renewed the show for a fourth outing. However, this will be the last season of the series. Dear White People is a humourous, gripping, and controversial and also an intriguing show. 

For the fourth and the last installment of the show, Justin Simien will be the co-showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Yvette Lee Bowser will also act as the co-showrunner and executive producer of the show. All the cast members from the previous season are expected to come back. What’s The Theme For Upcoming Season?

The creator of the show, Justin Simien, recently spoke about what could be coming up in Dear White People Season 4. He says that the show will feature Virtue Signalling as one of the most significant parts of the season. “The Myth of meritocracy that sounds conceited, that is kind of put on social media to support some cause (Black Lives for instance) and then sort of just goes away, wipes up when we are done,” he stated. 

He went on to say that capitalism is still here and alive in our society. Issues like Racism and patriarchy still persists in all institutions. So, what will happen next when it declared that yes black lives matter? That is the question Dear White People Season 4 will ask. They had always planned to do that, but now, it seems like a more urgent question that they have to ask. The creator added that there is an aesthetic idea behind the season. He is very excited to see how the show plays out for the audience. The season will be different than any season viewers have seen before. 

Dear White People Season 4: Production Status

When corona literally paused everything and lockdown started, the Dear White People team was only a few months into writing the fourth season. They had written half-season, but they had just begun scripting, and there was a lot of stuff they had to work. But now, the production team has completed the scripting for the fourth installment. It, in fact, has now proven to be more relevant than ever, because of this post, George Floyd world. 

Right now, producers of the show are trying to figure out a way that they could use to get back to shooting safely. While the whole of Hollywood is trying to find different ways, Dear White People production is still looking if they would be able to get back to shoot this year. Given that the show hasn’t started production yet, we can expect to see Dear White People Season 4 either in the second half of 2021 or early 2022, maybe.

Will there be more of Dear White People?

Dear White People Season 4 will serve as the last season of the series. However, recent reports reveal that it is possible that the show would remain alive in spin-offs. In a recent interview, Justin Simien reveals that he loves the idea of a spin-off series of the show. He thinks that the format and the structure of the show is something younger and radical voices can also come up and talk about their stories. Simien says that if he had his way, the show would really live on as an institution where they could start conversations.

However, as an artist, he wants to move from his experience and let others tell their stories. He loves cinema and wants to work in different genres. If not Simien, it is also possible that someone else might step in his shoes and bring in a spin-off for the series. Later on, Ludovica gets involved with Fiore, a young man who is also a part of the prostitution and cares very much for Ludovica. His care comes to an extent where he becomes obsessed with her. Chiara gets into a relationship with Damiano. He is the new kid and son of a senator while she keeps her life a secret. Recently, Netflix has released some important information about Baby Season 3. Who’s Returning?

Baby has a huge cast, so it is likely that Chabeli Sastre could come back as Camilla Rossi Govender, Lorenzo Zurzolo as Niccolo Rossi Govender, Brando Pacitto as Fabio Fedeli, and Mirko Trovato as Brando De Santis.

Along with them, Claudia Pandolfi is also expected to be back as Monita Petrelli Younes. With what the creators choose to bring on the table for Baby Season 3, we can expect a few new faces joining the cast too. We will have to wait and watch that. Elizabeth Moss is known for her outstanding performance as June Osborne in The Handmaid’s Tale. And now, she is ready to serve another streaming platform, Apple TV+. Moss is ready to play Chicago reporter name Kirby Mazrachi in Shining Girls. She also served as the executive producer along with Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way Productions and Silka Luisa. The series is based on Lauren Beukes’s 2013 novel, where Kirby’s life changes after being brutally assaulted.

The novel solely sets in Depression-era Chicago and revolves around Harper Curtis. He discovers a time portal to travel to different periods. There he stalks women to slay them. Unfortunately, one of them survived from his attack and pursued him. That survivor is Kirby Mazrachi. However, it’s yet to officially confirmed that Moss would portray Kirby’s character. But, considering the strong role, it’s pretty clear that Moss will play Kirby. Let’s, wait until other cast members’ details announced.

Moss Working On Another Series “Candy”

Elizabeth Moss has many shows on her plate to serve. Recently, the news came that Moss is currently working on her new limited event series, Candy. She’s playing an evil character of a real-life killer. The series is based on Texas Killer name Candy Montgomery and her victim Betty Gore. Well, it will be interesting to watch her in a strong canny murderer character instead of seeing her as a victim.

The series sets in the 1980’s suburban town in Texas, where Candy lives with her loving husband and children. Despite a peaceful personal and professional lifestyle, Candy decides to follow a strange path. She kills her friend and fellow church-goer, Betty Gore, with an axe. However, who will play Betty’s character isn’t revealed yet. The other creative team, including writers, producers, and narration teams, are all set to start their project.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4: Release Date

While working on so many projects, did Moss forget about The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4? The fourth chapter of The Handmaid’s Tale would premiere somewhere in 2021. However, it’s unclear when the filming would resume. Since Moss and other casts are alongside working on different projects. So there’s an issue regarding their schedule.
