The producer of the film, James Cameron, revealed that they obviously have plans for a second season. However, they don’t want to be too overconfident about it. They don’t want to make it something that could be mock-able. Whether or not it depends on how the movie does. While the first movie could not do great in the U.S., it was welcomed globally. The movie budget was $170 million, while it grossed about $404 million globally. That does look like a great figure. This only increases the chances of Alita: Battle Angel 2. 

What Could Happen In The Next Movie?

The first movie of the Alita franchise was intended to be a complete story. In the first movie, Alita loses Hugo, her lover, but then she comes to understand herself. She tries to make her own place and becomes a Motoball champion. Alita even tries to go back to the city of Zalem.

Rodriguez and Cameron have spoken about the movie in various interviews. All their statements reveal that they think that the first movie was a complete arc. In an interview, the duo says that Alita knows who she is now, and she now has a target. They went on to say that the story is a complete with a beginning. They even revealed that even the Manga hadn’t solved many mysteries around Alita’s life. 

If and when Alita: Battle Angel 2 comes, the movie will most probably explore what happens to Alita. What happens between ‘The Fall’ and after she lands in the Iron City junk. Could Alita Battle Angel 2 Move To Another Studio?

Alita: Battle Angel released in 2019, but things haven’t been the same ever since. When the first movie released, it was a 20th Century Fox production. But now, Disney has bought Fox and all the assets. That also means that Alita: Battle Angel 2 is now a Disney production. Owing to these changes, reports hint that the show would be moving to another studio. 

Earlier, Emma Watts and Jim Gianopulos were the executive producers of the show. The duo has worked very hard to bring the movie in the light. After Disney merged with Fox, both Gianopulos and Watts moved to Paramount Pictures. So, without their support, it is possible that the franchise would end. With this said, it is also possible that the movie would not make it to the screens anytime soon. Some reports even suggest that the franchise would find its home in some other studio. The Last Kingdom starring Adrian Schiller revealed his character’s story arc in The Last Kingdom Season 5. Recently, he arrived in a Winter Time podcast where he teased the dark fate awaiting for his role Æthelhelm. The filming for the fifth season is yet to start, so the fans have to wait an undefined period to watch what happens with this power-thirsty nobleman. Due to the pandemic, it’s unclear when the series would land on Netflix. But, it’s more likely that the 18-month filming schedule would be pushed ahead.

The Last Kingdom, created by John Lunn, is a historical drama series of BBC Two and Netflix. The series is based on The Saxon Stories’ novel series of Bernard Cornwell. It follows 866 to 910, depicting 40-45 years after the Vikings realm. The series revolves around a fictional character Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) of Bebbanburg, a nobleman lived and ruled Northumbria and Bebbanburg (Bamburgh Castle) during the regime of Æthelred II. Uhtred became the ruler of Northumbria after Æthelred II (Toby Regbo) murdered in 1002. Then he spent most of his time serving his citizens and protecting them from Scots.

Adrian Schiller played nobleman Æthelhelm’s character, who was introduced in the third chapter. He has frequently seen battling with Uthred to claim Bebbanburg. However, his thirst for power made him choose a different path to achieve his goal. Later in the fourth season, he became King Edward’s (Timothy Innes) advisor and secretly plotted against the King’s unlawful son. But, his sinful tactics have now put him in the worst stage in the upcoming season.

The End Of His Character

Recently, Adrian Schiller appeared in an episode of Winter Is Coming Westeros-themed podcast. In which, he revealed that Æthelhem wouldn’t stay long in the upcoming season. Adrian said it’s quite difficult for him to survive after plotting such cruel plots against the main characters. Further, he revealed that the forthcoming season would see a painful demise, maybe of him or someone else. Though the series has other threatening villains such as Eardwulf (Jamie Blackley) and King Alfred (David Dawson), things don’t seem in favor of Adrain’s character.

Adrian said: “It’s difficult to see how he can survive. When you’ve seen somebody plotting to screw over the main characters and the characters you love. The dramatic ethics demands that they have a painful demise. I would imagine that he’s probably moving that way.”

Unsuccessful Attempt To Kill Lady Aelswith

In the previous season, Æthelhelm tried to poison Lady Aelswith (Eliza Butterworth), leaving her on the verge of death. So it could be possible that the upcoming season would follow this storyline. Further, Adrian hinted that Aelswith would survive from his evil plot, but it could turn everything against Æthelhelm. He said that he would attempt to poison Aelswith or other kids. But, during his attempt, he gets discovered, and all his nasty ploys would reveal. It would be a turning point or the end of his character.

Cruel Death In The Last Kingdom Season 5

However, Adrian thinks Æthelhelm won’t die such a natural death. He had done so many evil things with everyone around him. So it’s possible that he got captive while he was escaping from the scene. Further, he could be severely beaten in prison and left with the bleeding wounds until he’s executed. Adrian said: “I think maybe what the fans would like to see is, him being severely beaten up and left in prison to crumble for a while, and then killed!”

On June 12, Hollywood unions announced to resume production by following the strict safety protocols. They released the guidelines, consisting of detailed safety measures that the production team has to follow. But, after weeks of discussion, progression is quite slow in some locations such as Hawaii, New Zealand, British Columbia, and New York. They are largely affected by the pandemic and have a slow rate of resuming filming.

Howbeit, a couple of days earlier, the government announced that filming would resume in such locations as well. Despite such delay, some of the production team are planning to continue following union agreement. These indie studios include Lionsgate and Sony Pictures T.V., which are setting tentative early to mid-August resuming date for their child series. The unions have strictly enforced daily testing following a nasal swab test for entire cast and crew members. The unions confirmed that cast and crew members would get tested on July 22. Netflix has renewed Top Boy Season 4 in February after reviving the series in 2019. Top Boy, created by Ronan Bennett, is a crime-drama series on Channel 4 and Netflix. The series set in the fictional Summerhouse estate in Hackney, East London. It follows Ra’Nell (Malcolm Kamulete) struggles living in a crime-filled city after his mother, Lisa (Sharon Duncan Brewster), admitted to the mental hospital. However, Ra’Nell has earned a reputation there, after violently stabbing his father. Meanwhile, his best friend Gem (Giacomo Mancini) started working for Summerhouse kingpins Sully (Kane Robinson) and Dushane (Ashley Walters) as a drug dealer. They both successfully run the estate together until Kamale (Tayo Jarrett) stole a large amount of their drug supply. So, it becomes more critical for Dushane and Sully to find the thief.

Creator Teased Storyline For Top Boy Season 4

In an arson attack, Sully’s friend Jase dies, which left him weeping in the last season. Further, the previous season has seen Sully’s vulnerable side, which the fans never saw until yet. Recently, Bennett has spoken about the Sully story arc in the BAFTA session on Top Boy. Ronan said that the audience would see more of Sully’s human side instead of his violent and dominating one. Production Status

The latest movie from the series, Transformers: The Last Knight released in 2017. The film did not do well on critics’ meter globally. Not just that, the movie could not even do well at the box-office. It was weak as compared to all other movies from the series. In May 2018, the news came out that Paramount had taken Transformers 7 out of their schedule. Then later in December the same year, Di Bonaventura confirmed that more Transformer movies are on the cards. They will be making changes in the tone and style of the movie to make these movies a success on all radars.

This year in January 2020, the producers announced they were making a follow up of the movie Bumblebee and an adaption of Transformers: Beast Wars. Both the movies had entered the pre-production phase. Writers Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt were writing these movies separately. Then by April of 2020, Josh Cooley came on board to be the director of the animation through Hasbro’s Entertainment One with Paramount Animation. Barrer and Ferrari are working on a new draft of the movie with Cooley.

As far as we know, Transformer 7 will take place on the Cybertron. The movie will also explore Megatron and Optimus Prime’s relationship. This time they will be separate and apart. She said, “That’s our little wink to Netflix to give us one more season, please.” Even if it doesn’t get a renewal, she thinks it was an ideal ending for the series. She continued, “This is a continuous cycle of life for our society and Sima, especially. She’s going to resume doing this work, on-camera and off. The story proceeds. I positively expect that we’re lucky enough to get a second season.”

The creators have a lot of things in their minds while creating this show. The debut season features an elite Indian matchmaker, Sima Taparia, who thoroughly analyzes her clients’ profiles to help them find a perfect partner. It ended with the story of Richa, who is yet to find a perfect partner for her. Therefore it is possible that the viewers might see her remaining journey in Indian Matchmaking Season 2. Along with her, they can expect to see more cast members who will be finding their ideal match. The show creator already said that if the second season happens, she will make the cast more diverse.

While talking about the show, Mundhra also said, “The parameters of these programs are fascinating to people because we live in this enigma of choice. We live in a society where we have a lot of dating apps—you can like sort of drop someone with just a swipe. There’s something very appealing to getting a more curated reality, like what Sima provides.” The fans can expect the following season’s structure to be the same as the stories of some new clients.

Liz and Silica already joined Asuna to help her start the war. By the end of the previous episode, her injuries were healed, and she joined the battlefield. Therefore in the third episode, Asuna will be in action and take part in the fierce battle along with her comrades. Therefore, this fast-paced, thrilling action with no flashbacks episode will be a real treat for the fans.

Previous Episode Recap!

In the previous episode, the fans saw Agil saving Asuna when she was fighting in the underworld. Liz and Silica also arrive, and the battle begins. Asuna was helpless as she was not able to fight because of her injuries. Liz explained Asuna that they would guard what they love, and they will come back using SAO and ALO. However, all of a sudden, a yellow light arrived, which healed all her injuries. So, she finally joined the battle, and the chances of her side winning increased drastically.
