The second season of The Politician landed on the streaming giant just a few days back, and the fans are already searching the whereabouts of The Politician Season 3. The show is a treat for anyone who is into politics or love to watch about it. The debut season opened with mixed responses from critics. However, the viewers praised it a lot. 

The Politician is a comedy-drama web series of Netflix. Ryan Murphy created this show along with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. The show made its debut on September 27, 2019, on Netflix. The show got a great response from the audience and trended in the top 10 for several weeks after its release. After looking at the response, Netflix renewed the show for its second season, which recently premiered on June 19, 2020.

The Politician Season 3: Renewal Status!

Netflix neither renewed nor canceled the show for its third installment. It’s not even been an entire week since the release of the second season. And Netflix usually takes a month or two to analyze the performance of the series. The second season managed to secure its position under the top ten since its release. The creators will likely renew the show when the time is right.

One of the show creators, Ryan Murphy, also teased the series’s return. He always envisioned the show with the three seasons, and according to him, the third season will likely return. He said, “I would like to do, and I think all of us interested in it would apparently like to do three seasons total.” 

What To Expect From The Third Season?

In the third season, the fans will likely see Payton’s biggest election campaign ever. In the final moments of the second season, the story moves two years forward. He’s going uncontested in the forthcoming election and informs his team that he’s only concentrating on his current position and not advancing for another. But all that changes when Dede offers him the vice president’s place when she runs four years from now. Although he doesn’t give her approval, he will likely head to Washington.

The creator himself confirmed that in The Politician Season 3, the best position for Payton is to be the Vice president. In his recent interview, Ryan said, “That would certainly be a presidential race, right? That’s always what we had intended, and I think that’s what our plan is.” So the fans should prepare themselves because the biggest election campaign is on its way.

The Politician Season 3: Release Date

The fans will have to face a long hiatus for having the third season of the show. And it’s not because of the production shutdown or pandemic. The creators are willing to take several years off for making the third season. Ryan Murphy revealed his plans about the third season in his recent interview. He said, “What I would like to do is get a couple of years off and have Ben Platt get a little older for his last race. I’m going to wait. He is young, so I want to wait several years to find out how we age him up a bit.”. Therefore it is possible that the fans have to wait till 2023 or even more for watching The Politician Season 3. 

Netflix renewed Chilling Adventure of Sabrina Season 4 along with its third season back in December 2018. That means the teenage witch with her co-companion is ready to enchant your world with more powers and spells for another season. Currently, production for the series hasn’t started yet. Netflix ordered eight more episodes for season four while confirming the third season in December 2018. So, it’s confirmed that Chilling Adventure Of Sabrina Season 4 is on its horizon. These total 16 episodes are encapsulated in season 3 and season 4, where the third season already hit Netflix this January with a 7.6 IMDb rating. As per Netflix, both parts are supposed to film consecutively. But, due to the ongoing pandemic, the production halted. Now, fans have to wait until the portal again opens for this magical world.

How Mahershala Ali Joined The Show?

Recently, Deadline organized Contenders Television virtual event, where many popular series participated. In that, Rami reserved a slot for its season 2. During the panel discussion, Ramy explained Ali’s entry into the series. He said: “We were writing in the writer’s room for about a month. And then someone at Hulu called me and said, Hey Mahershala Ali loves your show and wants to talk with you on your phone”. That is how the two-time Oscar winner joined the series as a mentoring character Sheikh.

Ramy added that the thing they wanted to do with this character that they ended up calling Sheikh Ali. It is just showing someone who feels like a real leader of a mosque. His complications aren’t mimic. It’s just the complications someone would have in trying to run a place like that.

Earlier, they were thinking of creating some loose ends which would resolve in season 3. However, Ramy discovered that adding Sheikh’s character now is better. He said that it was an idea that he wanted to do towards the end of Ramy Season 2 into the third season. But then they get someone like Mahershala on the line. And they realized that this is to happen like right now. Ramy also believed that this Sheikh relationship helped them as a show to put Ramy in some real spiritual spaces, with some real things and real situations that he has to do, thus opposed to the spiritual.

May Calamawy, who played Dena Hassan’s character in Ramy, explained why the show’s avoiding exploring Muslim female sexuality. She said: “I remember the first season had a lot to do with sexual shame. In which, Dena getting operation over her body. Since she wants to feel accepted and beautiful. I’ve experienced that growing up. So it was cleansing for me and fun to do. But I remember telling Ramy that I don’t want this show to be about Dena having sex and discovering sex.”

May explained that it’s more about exploring the body. There are many things that the show can also explore, like finding their identity. May continued that she didn’t want the second season to be about a man. She wanted to portray how there are different areas of life like they can get an agency for women. It’s not just through men and the body, but work and how they put themself out there and taking space.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4: Release Date Delayed! 

We know Handmaid’s Tale season 4 is coming, but we don’t know when. Everybody was hoping that the show would release sooner, but it looks like the ongoing pandemic has really pushed back the show. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 is now pushed back to 2021. 

The team started production earlier this year with an expectation for season 4 to released this fall, but everything stopped because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A report by TheWrap reveals that Hulu has told all advertisers that the fourth season is delayed until 2021. Nobody knows when the productions would resume. 

The Handmaid’s Tale’s director and lead star Elisabeth Moss revealed that they were only into productions for two weeks when they had to stop. They did not get a lot to complete the shoot. She also said that they wouldn’t get back to shooting until the environment is safe. They want to get back to work because everybody in the crew has families they need to support, but no human’s life is worth a TV show, she added. They are also trying to figure out a safe way to resume productions. 

What Will Happen In Season 4?

In the fourth season, June is probably alive. Although Miller has not confirmed whether she will survive her gunshot wound or not, he says that they are following June. She lives in Gilead, and it is not a beautiful place. It will not be a nice place. Miller says that they are trying to be realistic about what could have happened and how things would have gone. The showrunner reveals that they spoke to the U.N. about it to know what happens to rebels in such countries. So, they are still rummaging through the possibilities. If they are looking at the aftermath of June’s action, we can assume that she will be alive and face the consequences. 

Talking about Gilead, the place will start becoming unstable. Well, it has never been stable in the first place. Viewers will continue to see the effects of power and mass exodus of children. It is the kind of thing they are taking into account very seriously. The reason for existence is reproduction. Now when they have started taking away the children, that would make Gilead very angry indeed. 

Are The Creators Deviating From Original Novel?

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, Showrunner Bruce Miller spoke that he sees a world beyond the current world. He would watch an episode about the Nuremberg trials post Gilead’s fall. There are a lot of things that can make you think about how everything has changed a lot. He added that they still want the show to follow the source material. Miller also reveals that their arc is very much the same as the novel’s arc. It is an arc of a woman’s experience in Gilead at the time. It’s her recollection that paints a picture of what the world would be like in that time, which still in the book. 

The showrunner revealed that they are sticking to the novel. It will take time to cover the territory book covered very quickly. With Margaret Atwood’s new follow-up book Testaments out, creators have more sources to use. Testaments pick up roughly after 15 years from the events of the first book. The sequel is based on testimonies of three characters from the original book. These characters include Aunt Lydia, and two teenage girls called Daisy and Agatha. June isn’t much in the sequel.

As per new book, June has escaped Gilead after she survived many assassination attempts and now is somewhere in Canada. Gilead’s regime hasn’t come to an end, but it has got weaker. The resistance has grown stronger. It isn’t clear if Testaments would anyhow be a part of Handmaid’s Tale Season 4. We will know that with time. In the meantime, you stay tuned with us. This is the third time for Lucifer when the creators announced any installment of the series to be the final season of it. Fox announced that they would end the show with its third season. Netflix was teasing the sixth season for a long time. The creators also hinted about it while releasing the teaser for the fifth season. The tweet which posted the teaser reads, “We know you can’t wait for Lucifer season five, so here’s a devilish ‘66.6’ second to keep you sinful.” And, now the new post which announced the final season also contained the number 666. Therefore, we can say that the creators have made up their minds long before officially announcing Lucifer Season 6.

And now, according to the show stars and writers, the fifth season will not hold anything back and going to be the biggest season of the show. Chloe learned Lucifer’s true identity and confessed her love for him. But after that, he returned back to hell. The teaser shows a glimpse of his sensual pleasures. Zendaya, who played Rue’s character is excited to start filming of Euphoria Season 2. In an interview, she spoke about her journey from Disney Channel to Euphoria’s lead and producer. Earlier, filming was scheduled to start in March. But, due to the current health crisis, production is on hold. However, scripting is completed, and soon all the cast and crew would return with their work. But, currently, fans have to wait for a little more.

Euphoria, created by Sam Levinson, is a youth drama series of HBO. The series is based on Israeli show of the same name. It focused a group of high school students and their struggle. Throughout their high school journey, the group experienced many issues related to sex, drugs, love, and friendship. The series mainly focused on Rue Bennett (Zendaya), who’s diagnosed with OCD, ADD, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Now, struggling to find a place for her in the world. During her struggle, she met with Jules, an exciting, eclectic new girl in the town. However, in the end, they both get separated that left Rue all teary and in depression.

Zendaya as Rue, gained immense love from the audience and critics. Recently, in an interview, Zendaya expressed her excitement to return to play her character in Euphoria Season 2. She said: “We were supposed to return to work. I think, on March 16. And, three or four days before that, the production halted. I was like, ‘I was so close.’ We did camera tests and hair and makeup tests, and we got to see everybody, and we had the sets built.”

She added: “I mean the scripts were written and I was just so excited. To go back home is indeed what it feels like.” She explained how lucky she was that she’s safe. She continued: “But of course, this has all happened, and I’m just grateful that I’m in the position I’m in. I can’t complain. I’m fortunate to be safe and healthy and still know that I have a job, ‘Euphoria,’ that will be there.”

Zendaya said Rue’s a different character, unlike her, so it was a little fun and challenging to play. She added: “Rue is very different from me, but there’s something that seems like home. Zendaya continued: “I just felt like I was falling into her a lot. I’m sure you can connect. But that feeling of when a figure feels like they’re your best friend or your sister. I care for Rue as if she’s someone important in my life. And I want her to be ok.”

The star, told herself in an interview, that it was her childhood dream to work off-screen and manage everything. Zendaya said that she wanted the entitled of a producer when she was younger because she wished to learn what it felt like to do all those stuff behind the scenes. Amazon finally released the most-awaited trailer of Absentia Season 3 along with its release date. Absentia Season 3: Release Date

There has been much speculation about the return of the popular Netflix Original Anime, Saiki K. Fans have been asking for Saiki K Season 4 for long now. J.C. Staff’s The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K debuted in Japan back in July 2016. It’s the anime adaptation of a manga series (with the same name) and is illustrated by Shūichi Asō. The 120-episode first season of the show ran for quite long as compared to most animes in recent times. Similarly, the 2018 sequel of the series was massive too. Fans grew attached to the show due to its long run. Thus it is still acknowledged by millions of people around the globe.

In 2019, Netflix announced that they’d be producing an original series continuing the 2016 anime. The ONA (Original Net Animation), called The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K: Reawakened, received much love upon release from the international audience. However, this installment only consisted of 6 episodes released altogether on December 30, 2019. Fans were disappointed with the quantity of the episodes, yet they were pretty impressed with its quality and refreshing setting of the series. The Reawakened installment is called the third season. Hence, fans are now waiting for Saiki K Season 4.

The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K manga series began serialization back in 2012 and continued until August 2018. While the series hasn’t been canceled yet, no new volumes have been released after Volume 26. The 2016 & 2018 anime adaptations covered almost 250 chapters of the manga. Whereas, most of the remaining source material was consumed by The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K: Reawakened.

Hence, Netflix barely has any content for Saiki K Season 4. However, the streamer has previously developed original content for some of its successful shows, and Saiki K might join the list. On the other hand, there’s still hope that the mangaka, Shūichi Asō, resumes writing his brilliant piece of work anytime soon. If that happens, the platform would have to wait for the release of enough manga volumes.

What Will Happen Next?

Looking at the way it ended, fans are curious to know what will happen next in the story. The debut installment left us all hanging with several questions in our minds. Well, as per speculations, most of these questions are likely to be answered in the upcoming season.

The story of the anime revolves around Legoshi, a large grey wolf, who is a student at the Cherryton Academy. In this fantasy world, the leading character lives in a dorm with other carnivorous students. He is a member of the school’s drama club and works as a stagehand. The plot of the series develops around a brutal murder of an alpaca, Tem, that messes up the balance between the herbivorous and carnivorous students.

The first season of the series left us all with several questions. The anime is yet to reveal the actual killer of Tem, the alpaca. Aside from the main plotline, we also need to know if Louis, the red deer, survived the attack of the lions (after killing their leader). Fear The Walking Dead, created by Dave Erickson and Robert Kirkman is a post-prophetic horror drama series on AMC. It’s a prequel and companion series to The Walking Dead. The series based on Charlie Adlard, Tony Moore, and Robert Kirkman’s comic book series of the same name. It initially set in Los Angeles, then California, and later in Mexico.

They all are ready to participate in the grand SDCC’s first virtual event.

Fear The Walking Dead will represent a panel for its upcoming sixth season that would premiere later this year. The panel will be moderated by Hardwick featuring Gimple, along with the executive producers and showrunners Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss. The panel will also have cast members, including Alycia Debnam-Carey, Lennie James, and Colman Domingo. And also with Ruben Blades, Danay Garcia, Jenna Elfman, and Karen David will be there.

Fear The Walking Dead Season 6: Lennie Discussed Details

Lennie James, who played Morgan’s character, told Digital Spy that there’s no official date scheduled to start filming. James said: “We have no official restart time. But everything is still moving. If we will return. AMC, the network in charge of the show, is in discussion with experts. To find the safest and the best way. And the most practical way. For not just restarting, but restarting safely. And finding a way to remain safe.”

James said that it’s impossible to maintain social distancing (well, you know the series theme). He added: “The specifics of our show mean that we have a slightly different concept.
