Ultraman Season 2: Plot Details!

The story of the inaugural season is set several years after the original show. The threat from aliens and monsters has receded, and Ultraman has decreased to everyone’s memory, where he is just recognized as a legendary ‘Giant of Light.’ However, Shinjiro discovers his father’s true identity and also learned that he also carries the first factor that wants him to step up and consume the hero’s mantle. Shinjiro’s trigger point comes when an alien invades earth and provokes his father to enter the battle. Shinjiro finds himself competing side by side. However, he finds that he is not the only one with the powers around, and the others are having some trouble accepting him. In the series, Rip Hunter goes crook after Vandal Savage killed his family. He is a member of an organization in-charged of protecting the timeline called Time Masters. Rip creates a team of Legends to confront Vandal. As per Klemmer, the first episode of the sixth season would revolve around Legends searching for Captian, and there they will meet an alien conspiracy theorist. However, how their meeting turns out (as friend or enemy) is still not revealed yet. The second episode will portray a brief look at another historical episode. Like the “50s burger war,” the showrunner is working to bring a mythological creature as an alien in the third episode. Now let’s wait until they reveal who’ll be the monster in the third episode.

Phil said: “We would like there to be a whole mixed variety of them (aliens). We want each alien to maintain a novel genre for each episode. We’ve only broken three of these things. We have one. We meet a new Legend who’s an alien conspiracy theorist. Then we have another episode that’s 50s burger war. A lot like an American Graffiti shape. I want it to have that B-movie creature element, as well.”

The main reason behind the cancellation of the show is a huge drop in viewership of the later seasons. The final season of the series averaged under a 0.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic and barely managed to get over 300,000 total live viewers. Both of these figures are less than 25% off from the average values for the fourth season. And the fourth season saw the downfall in 30% of their average viewers compared to the third season. Therefore the creators had to cancel Killjoys Season 6, or else the new season would have also witnessed a massive drop. Syfy announced the end of the series two years before the concluding season so that they can give the necessary time to writers for the proper ending of the show.

Renewed For Next Season

Hulu has renewed its stop-motion animated series Crossing Swords for the next season. Crossing Swords Season 2 got renewed soon after its first season wrapped up on Hulu. The first season consists of ten episodes, which premiered on June 12. However, Hulu doesn’t reveal Crossing Swords’ viewership yet. It’s pretty clear that the show hit the streaming platform well, which made them renewed it so early.

As per IMDb, Crossing Swords got 6.6 ratings. Wherein on IGN.com, the series earned 3 out of 10. And on Rotten Tomatoes, the earned 18% ratings from the audience. However, the overall ratings Crossing Swords received is 87%. As of now, the animation series is easy to create than filming live-action. Although, production started from June 12 by following all the health-protocol. But, an animated series can be created remotely. So, it can be one of the reasons that Hulu started streaming more and more animated series to increase its ratings.

Crossing Swords Season 2: What Will Happen?

The Cornish period drama- Poldark concluded with the fifth season of the show in July 2019. However, many viewers have been asking about the future and if they would get more of the show. The fifth season ventured into an entirely new territory, which wasn’t a part of the original novels. Instead, it took on the books of the series that covered the 11 years between the seventh and the eighth novels, The Angry Tide and The Stranger from the Sea.

The screenwriter- Debbie Horsfield, revealed that Winston Graham had left many hints in the eighth book about many events that could come in the future. But he has not yet revealed how Ross achieved the transformation. Horsfield went on to say that the storyline they used was just a starting point for them. It was just a roadmap to navigate through season 5.

Andrew, Winston Graham’s son, continued to endorse his father’s methodology, he kept looking at the historical context. Andrew even used it to drive real people and events. The fifth season did not complete the adaption of all the Poldark novels. This means that there’s more scope that can be covered in further seasons if the BBC wants to continue the series—the last season covered book seven and a little bit between before that. There are in total 12 books, so there are almost five novels left that could be covered. 

Is Season 6 Happening? 

Even if the news is really heartbreaking, it does not look like Poldark Season 6 is happening. The BBC had only planned to create five seasons of the drama. The lead actor Aidan Turner revealed that when they started Poldark, their main aim was to cover as many books as they could. That took them five seasons. Turner also revealed that when they were filming the fifth season, they had a sense of relief and completion. They were relieved that they had made it this far. The show successful and watching it. The actor went on to say that he has had an incredible journey.
