The fans have been asking for another installment of House Of Cards. But as of now, House Of Cards Season 6 is the final season of Netflix’s political drama series. After the sexual misconduct allegations against Kevin Spacey, Netflix canceled House Of Cards Season 7. Netflix ordered the showrunner to remove Spacey from the sixth and the final season. Although the entire series gained enormous positive reviews from critics and several nominations, including thirty-three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor, Outstanding Lead Actress, and Outstanding Drama Series, Netflix declared that there would be no seventh season.

House Of Cards, created by Beau Willimon, is a political thriller series on Netflix. The series is an adaptation of 1990 BBC miniseries based on Michael Dobbs’ novel of the same name. The show set in Washington D.C. follows Congressman Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) stories. Frank is a democrat from House Majority Whip and South Carolina’s fifth congressional district. He has attained the designation of Secretary of State and initiates to elaborate his power with the help of Claire. The entire series deals with ruthless pride, manipulation, power, and betrayal.

House Of Cards Season 7: Is It The End Of House Of Cards?

Netflix is famous for picking up shows after cancelation, such as Lucifer, as Netflix values the quality of content. Even Netflix itself revived the shows that were on the verge of cancelation, such as Black Mirror. But, this time, the case is quite different, as Netflix is unlikely to renew House Of Cards for the seventh season. Netflix announced season sixth would be the final season. The announcement came soon after when Anthony Repp alleged that Kevin Spacey had tried to have sex with him when Repp was only 14 years old. Netflix ordered House Of Cards creator to remove Spacey from the show. That turns the sixth season as “Claire vs. Frank.” It leads to Frank’s resignation from the presidency position, followed by his mysterious death. However, Spacey is no longer a part of the series now. Still, it seems Netflix doesn’t want to give another chance to the series.

Star Cast Hoping To Return

After sexual assault allegations, Spacey got removed from the show. That made writers to create his on-screen death story, which is well strategically planned as Frank was the former president. So, he can’t die any natural death. However, in the season finale, Claire found that Dough poisoned Frank. But, the cliffhanger ending of Claire left the audience wondering what happens with her?

In an interview, James Gibson explained: “Claire essentially weaponizing motherhood in a rather cruel way. And then the big surprise is that she doesn’t feel what she expects to feel. It’s much complicated”. Further, Kelly explained: “I think a lot of audiences will wonder, is Janine going to get Claire? And I think you can say that Claire’s not done yet”. Perhaps there’s some hope that House Of Cards Season 7 would return. But, where it would land is still a mystery.

Blood and Treasure Season 2: Delayed Release Date

The show was renewed for Blood and Treasure Season 2 in July 2019. Everybody expected the show to return in the Summer of 2020, but it looks like the show will be delayed. The show isn’t 100% complete at the moment. Matthew Federman used his twitter to update everyone that isn’t complete, and they will come back to complete the show when everything is safe. The show will face many new challenges because of the international locations.

Shetland Season 6: Plot Details!

The show’s fifth season saw Perez examining the murder of young Nigerian man Daniel and the abduction of his sister Zezi after a severed hand washed up on Shetland beach. He started to speculate that a trafficking organization on the island was accountable for killing Daniel and capturing Zezi. His main suspect, the Hayes family, was soon afterward found murdered in their home, with an only surviving family member left for dead.

In Glasgow, Perez went to see Aaron McGuire, who he thought was a significant figure in the gang. During this time, suspicious Callum performed suicide under DC Sandy Wilson’s watch. Perez soon realized that Alice, the new woman in Shetland that he had fallen in love with during the show, was behind the trafficking ring on the island after McGuire was informed of the police’s struggle to attract him out of the shadows. Later he learned that Alice’s husband Chris had accumulated debts, which meant he was forced into people trafficking, and Zezi is found in a cottage on Unst that Chris was renovating.

Cast Speculates What Could Come Up In Light As A Feather Season 3!

Actress Liana Liberto who plays McKenna Brady, says that she thinks it will be really interesting. They could explore the game from the perspective of people that got out. In his recent interview, he said, “It’s very comforting in a novel to bind everything up and have a feeling of closure, but, to me, my preferred movies are the ones that have open closings, that allow the viewers to create their own kind of ideas on what happens.”

Later, he also teased I Know This Much Is True Season 2 indirectly. He said, “I desired it to be more of a flash of hope so that viewers could see the probabilities of his fate but not cure it completely. The way the novel ends is excellent for the book. You have extra time in a book. But there’s this extended idea of cinema and shows that it keeps ongoing, and it’s nearly too much to take at once.”

Now, it will be interesting to see whether the creators go with the open ending and renew the series or decide to end the show and left the future events for the fans to imagine.

Then later in February 2020, Ryan announced that Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Lily Rabe, and Finn Wittrock are coming back for the tenth season. Both Porter and Bates were missing from the ninth season of the show. For the first time, Rabe is coming in for a part more than just a guest appearance after Roanoke (Season 6). Along with all the familiar faces, Macaulay Culkin will join the cast. 

American Horror Story Season 10: Theme Might Be Changed

Creator Ryan Murphy has been dropping hints about what could come up in season 10 for some time now.
