In the same statement, the company thanked Neal Bear, the producer, and showrunner of the show for bringing in his guiding vision and a steady hand. Sutherland shared a video on his social media, where he thanked everyone for their support for the show. The third season of the show was the final season of the show. He conveyed his gratefulness that he could play the character. He also thanked viewers for his support throughout the seasons.

In an interview before the show canceled, Sutherland said that he wasn’t very hopeful that Designated survivor season 4 would come. In the same interview, he said that his experience with Netflix was terrific. He loved the kind of freedom. But, their contracts were very complicated and different. They did not book the actors on the show, and now the actors are busy with other jobs. Netflix has not said anything about the contracts yet.

The show Heartland usually lands on Netflix US way after releasing on CBC. Typically the streaming platform is a season or two behind the seasons that are already available on CBC. Now that Heartland Season 14 is announced, viewers are wondering when Heartland season 13 would release on Netflix.

If we analyze that, here’s the math. The tenth season of the show arrived on Netflix in August 2018, followed by Season 11 in August 2019. There are a couple of theories going rounds as to why Fox canceled the Dark Angel Season 3. Yes, Fox canceled the renewal of Dark Angel season 3 to make room for Firefly, the sci-fi series by Joss Whedon. Cameron served as the direction of Dark Angel season 2. Fox’s sudden decision to cancel Dark Angel season 3 shocked the Oscar-winning director. Reportedly, in a book titled ‘Science Fiction Television Series: 1990-2004: Histories, Casts, And Credits For 58 Shows,’ Cameron shared:

‘They called us on Saturday and told us we were on schedule and we’d been picked up. We got together Saturday night and celebrated. Sunday goes by, and Monday morning we get a call saying, ‘No, you’re not on the schedule! It’s been changed.’ I’ve never heard of that happening…On Monday, we were supposed to be on a plane to go to the network upfront in New York on Tuesday. They called us that day and told us not to go! I was pissed!’

Sadly, we will not be seeing Dark Angel anymore. Though canceled, Dark Angel is still in demand in the United States and the United Kingdom. Both seasons of the show are also available on DVD.

Netflix decided to release GLOW Season 4 in the third quarter of 2020. But now, looking at the condition, the air date might be pushed back by the end of 2020.
