At the palace, the King asked his men why a shaman started killing people. Soon the scene cuts to the shaman’s backstory before turning into a killer. She was possessed by a spirit who believed the shaman was the chosen one and could fulfill the prophecy of the ghost. So to achieve it, she needed to kill four people, and she was almost there to finish her task.

Meanwhile, Sung-on wondered about the meaning of the last message while the court officials asked the King to take over the case from the Crown Prince. The new Minister Of Justice proposed letting him handle the case and exposing the shaman’s crimes. But another Court official argued that it could be related to the royal hunting ceremony. It would be better if the Crown Prince handled the case. Later Sung-on arrived at the office of Shamanism to collect evidence. But some masked men attacked him. It was later revealed that one of the masked men was Man-deok.
