Sadly, the award-winning series is now on its final journey. Netflix confirmed Ozark Season 4 is the final season of the series. However, the series won’t end so soon. Netflix has some other plans to raise the fans’ excitement level. The previous season has seen a lot of bloodsheds. Martin was captive by Mafia’s boss Omar Navarro. Wendy Byrde killed her brother, Ben Davis, to save her husband and family from the Mafia claws. But, it eventually created more enemies for Byrde. Ozark, created by Mark Williams and Bill Dubuque, is a crime-drama series on Netflix. The series revolved around a married couple Martin “Marty” Byrde (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) and their money-laundering scheme. The couple moved to central Missouri of Lake of the Ozarks after their Mexican drug corporation goes wrong. However, when Byrdes reach there, they involve with local criminals, including Snell and Langmore families. Later the couple found them in a more trapped position, when they join hands with Kansas City Mafia. Apart from money-laundering, they are then involved in a few murder cases as well.

Ozark Season 4: When To Expect?

In April, Jason Bateman has spoken to Collider regarding the series premiere. In the interview, he said that it requires six months to write a script and also finalization of the concept. Then it takes almost six more months in narration. So basically, they need a total of a year to create an outstanding drama for Netflix. And this is the fastest way they can prepare. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, it’s hard to say when the filming would start.

Although slowly, the government started opening its entertainment production by following the strict health protocol imposed by them. However, it depends on the series production team as when they are about to resume their filming. Till now, we can assume Ozark Season 4 to premiere in late summer of 2021.

Unfortunately, the fourth season is the final season of the series. In late June, Netflix confirmed that Ozark will be back for a final journey. However, the fourteen episodes’ final season will be split into two halves, each containing seven episodes. Netflix wants to build more excitement by expanding the series in a dramatic way that the streamer often does with other series.

However, this is not what the showrunner Chris Mundy expected. He said he’s hoping to expand the series for seven seasons or more than that, as the series gained huge positive responses from the critics and the audience. Further, the series won many awards for its outstanding performance, musical, and execution.

Ozark Season 4: Tom Pelphrey Will Continue His Role

The fans saw Tom Pelphrey as Ben Davis at the beginning of the third season. However, soon after he reconciled with her sister Wendy, he became a target victim in the cartel’s eye to proceed with their misdeeds. Later, to prove Wendy’s loyalty to Omar Navarro, she trades her brother’s life. She allows Nelson (Nelson Bonilla) to shoot her brother dead. However, everyone has seen his body but not how he’s killed. So, Ben is alive or dead is the biggest puzzle.

Meanwhile, Ozark star Laura Linney has spoken to Entertainment Weekly that Ben is alive, and Nelson has hidden his body. Further, Tom explained that they also had the same theory when they were shooting the scene. Everyone on the set thought what if Ben is alive. And Nelson used someone else body to show his family and Omar. Whether he’s alive or not, Ben will indeed be a part of Ozark Season 4, said Tom.

Later they both fell in love with each other. But, Claire had a family who is waiting for her in their time. So she struggles to find a way to return.

Stars Teased Production Details

In early January, the filming for Outlander Season 6 began. But due to the sudden hold on production, the filming halted in the midst. In March, Sam Hueghan revealed that the team was ready to start filming. Eventually, they shot the first episode. However, they couldn’t be able to continue that because of the ongoing pandemic. Later, Outlander star Caitriona Balfe tweeted that writers were working on the sixth season remotely even if filming isn’t resumed yet.

However, In June, Sam confirmed that filming is supposed to begin soon. But, the production team has to ensure that everything starts safely without spreading this deadly disease more. Presently, they are trying to return as quickly as they can. Sam said: “We were supposed to be shooting right now, and things are still somewhat up in the air. But I believe you know. I’m hopeful that we’re going to be back before we know it.”

Lauren said: “I do know some stuff is going to happen with them next season. That’s very much brought them together. So that will happen. But it’ll be a different situation to what you’ve seen them in before.” She continued: “A lot of what Marsali is about this season is protection and having found her place and her meaning on the Ridge.”

Rules And Regulations To Be Followed On The Set!

The producers are already working with the local government to set up a coronavirus testing regime for the cast and crew. The producer of Urban Myth, Johnny Capps, informed the fans about those rules. He said, “All engaged in the production must arrive for a temperature test the very moment they enter the location. If they do not have a high temperature, they are delivered a wristband and guided to an assistant director, and then they present their name and function. At this point, the person is given a color-coded armband, which defines what areas of the studio they can enter.”

Blue bands are kept mostly for office workers and means they are not allowed to enter the set. Those with red wristbands can reach the set, but not when the actors are present. Ultimately, green band wearers are in a tightly protected bubble with the cast, meaning they are allowed on the set while cameras are rolling. And the distance of two-meter is compulsory among all the members present on the location.

Leonardo is a man with many hidden secrets. The couple has a kid named Zoe. Alma is miserable because they have lost all the spark in their marriage. She visits her best friend for a weekend to help her through her grief after having an ugly divorce. 

While this weekend getaway was just supposed to be a break, it turns into a wild night of passion. Alma meets a 23-year-old Dario Guerra. She comes back to her home while trying to forget everything that happened. But then Dario comes in her class, which starts a chain of events leading to a murder. Detective Esteban is quite determined to find the killer, and he is suspicious of Dario. The first season ended with a blast. The detective solves the whole who-did-it-mystery, but then it starts an additional chain of events that will be the basis of Dark Desire Season 2. 

Who’s In The Cast?

For the first season, viewers got to see Maite Perroni as Alma, the protagonist for the show. Jorge Poza plays the role of Alma’s husband- Leonardo. Along with the two, Alejandro Speitzer comes in to play Dario’s role, Alma’s lover. Another in the cast list is Regina Pavon, who plays Zoe, Alma, and Leonardo’s daughter. The last one on the list is Erik Hayser, who plays Esteban, the private investigator. We can expect all these faces to reprise their roles for Dark Desire Season 2. Along with them, some new faces will also join in the second season.

When Would Dark Desire Season 2 Release?

The first season of the show released this July on Netflix. The show had 18 episodes with a runtime of about 30 minutes each. The way the first season ended concluded the main storyline for the show. However, with so many more additional storylines hinted in the finale, we expect more of the show. Netflix usually takes a few weeks to analyze the viewership. What Will Happen In I May Destroy You Season 2?

Will There Be I May Destroy You Season 2?

Actress Harriet Webb (Theo) has spoken on the future of the show. In an interview with Metro, Webb says that she did not have conversations with Michaela about a second season. She went on to say that she sees the show as a piece of work. The actress added that the show is an interesting one because it isn’t a classic set-up. The most interesting part about the show is that people love the show and the characters. So, that is a great reason to bring back more. Webb says that she would be surprised if season 2 comes, but anything is possible there. 

Future After The Season Finale

In another interview with The Hollywood Reporter after I May Destroy You completed the season, Coel spoke about all the questions everyone had about her plans for a second series. She said that she doesn’t want to give any information away. She also stated that she thinks fans will understand after they see the final episode. 

The finale episode of the series saw many versions of the revenge plot. It plays out in a Groundhog-day kind of sequence. It is possible that the series could come back for a second installment and confirm if the whole sequence really happened or not. The first season has received massive acclamation globally. Babylon Berlin, written and directed by Achim von Borries, Tom Tykwer, and Hendrik Handloegten, is a period drama on Sky and Netflix. The series is based on German author Volker Kutscher’s novels. It is set in Berlin when the Weimar Republic started in 1929. The series follows Gereon Rath (Volker Bruch), a police inspector and former combat expert of the Imperial German Army. He’s freshly transferred to Berlin, where he’s in a secret mission to destroy an extortion ring. But, he struggles with PTSD related to his brother’s loss and war experience. During his mission, his PTSD triggers many times while solving his case.

Renewal Status & Release Date

Netflix only serves as the international broadcast partner of the series. So, it’s not in Netflix’s hands to renew the series for its fourth season. However, according to German magazine Qiez, Sky ordered Babylon Berlin Season 4 batch alongside its third season. Further, the series creator Hendrik also confirmed that the fourth season is on its way. However, they are currently working on their script. The series creators are expecting to return till 2021. Hendrik said: “We hope if everything goes well to reshoot next year.”

Babylon Berlin Season 4: What Will Happen?

In an interview, Hendrik revealed that the upcoming season would see Charlotte Ritter (Liv Lisa Fries) more in action. Since it’s the best time to highlight her character after what happened in the previous season. They wanted the women’s perspective, that’s why two new female writers joined their writing team. He said: “We thought it was time for a bit of change. And we are faster, and we wanted the female input.”

Based On Volker Kutscher’s Third Novel

Hendrik revealed that the upcoming season would depict the events in Volker’s third novel, Goldstein, set in 1931. It follows Ruth dealing with an American gangster named Abraham Goldstein. Later, Ruth indulged in a street war with Goldstein while taking Goldstein in his custody. The novel also portrayed many events that occurred in the growing reign of Nazism.

However, Hendrik cleared that they are not going to portray everything written in the book. They are clear about where they have to take for the upcoming chapter. He said they wouldn’t go beyond 1933, though the book is far beyond that time. Still, some of the characters might continue their journey beyond 1933. But, they don’t want to portray everything.

Will There Be Babylon Berlin Season 5?

Hendrik also said they only know the story would conclude in the 1933 period. But, how many seasons it would take to portray that event is still unclear. He said his co-writers already foreseen the end journey, but they are currently writing the script. So, it could be two or more than that.

Endeavour Season 8 has been renewed long back when its seventh season’s filming began. However, the seventh season has time to air on ITV. But, it’s unclear when the filming for its eighth season would begin. The production is on pause, and the team hasn’t confirmed when they would resume. In an interview, the series writer and creator Russell Lewis stated that the delay in production might cause the timeline issue in the upcoming season. But, he’s still positive that the narrative would cope with the writing team’s idea. He said that the story would follow 1971 events. However, currently, everything is in the planning stage. But, they are hoping to maintain their 50 years time gap from now.

The network already confirmed that Endeavour Season 8 is on its horizon. The announcement came before the seventh season began filming. However, it’s unclear when the eight season filming would start. The series mostly gained positive responses from the critics. However, some critics commented that sometimes, the series fizzled out to explain the murder-mystery and eventually concluded it in a melodramatic way.
