Ava and Stefan are treading extremely harsh waters on Days of Our Lives. One wrong move, and they both go spiraling down. Currently, their sole mission is to somehow break free from Clyde Weston’s chokehold. Thus, as part of their scheme the two are pretending to be having an affair. However, all treacheries must come at a cost. And this one might just cost Ava her real lover.

The latest Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the upcoming episodes, Harris raids the restaurant Ava and Stefan are using as a drug front for Clyde. As one could expect, many feathers are ruffled. Later, Harris confronts Ava at the docks. Perhaps over the findings from the drugs, as well as her “growing closeness” with Stefan. After all, news of things like sweltering hot affairs spreads rather fast in Salem, don’t they?

Time For Harris To Leave Salem On Days Of Our Lives

At the docks, Stefan comes to Ava’s rescue and makes Harris back off from her. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Stefan gives Harris a rather strong message. Following this, a disheartened Harris confides in Rafe. He confesses how he really feels about Ava and how much he is struggling in the wake of all that she is up to with Stefan. Now, although Ava is actually pretending to be Stefan’s boo, Harris may start believing the hoax to be actually true.

We know that actor Steve Burton has exited Days of Our Lives. He has already filmed his final scenes as Harris in late 2023. So, considering that DOOL films a couple of months in advance and we are already in the middle of Jan, there could only be a limited stretch left for him on the canvas. Moreover, the fact that most of his storylines revolved around Ava, his exit also perhaps comes from there. This leaves us with two possibilities. Either Harris rescues Ava from Clyde’s clutches, and they both leave Salem.

Or, Harris leaves alone and heartbroken, thinking he has lost Ava to Stefan on Days of Our Lives. Thus opening the door to a whole new storyline for Ava and Stefan to develop real feelings for each other. Just in time for recast, Gabi to step in! Now, that would be more soapy, right? Looks like the wedding season is not over just yet on Days of Our Lives. We recently saw EJ tie the knot with Nicole, followed by Eric taking the vows with Sloan. Soon after, there was chatter about another wedding coming up in the form of – Stephanie and Chad. But that relationship is already bulldozed. In fact, Steph has even begun to move on toward a new romance with ex-boyfriend Everett Lynch.

So, which other couple could really be on the verge of tying the knot in Salem? Well, actor Robert Scott Wilson posted a BTS photo from his Days of Our Lives dressing room. Looking pretty much like a groom! We know Alex has recently started dating Brady’s ex – Theresa! But could they already be fast-tracking their relationship to get married? Wouldn’t that be too soon, even for a soap?

Considering that Days of Our Lives films a few months in advance, there will still be time for their relationship to grow. Moreover, we have seem how lonely Alex had been previously. So, it actually fits with his storyline. Especially, with the whole paternity chaos that he just faced. Theresa is perhaps the only stable thing in his life right now. Or so he believes. Because, unknown to him, Theresa is actually the one who shoved his whole life in a blender and blitzed it at full speed. You know, with the forged letter she and Konstantin put in Victor’s briefcase to install Alex as the heir.

But here’s the thing, Alex couldn’t care less about the money and wealth if it means throwing off his life completely on Days of Our Lives. Moreover, he actually had a good bond with his dad- Justin. Which he is now hellbent on ruining, thanks to his pseudo-Victor-isque behavior! So, it is quite possible that in true soap fashion, Alex may find out Theresa’s truth right at the wedding altar! And we are certain the wedding won’t take place after that!

Alternatively, there is also a possibility that Alex could actually be dressed as the best man for another Days of Our Lives wedding. The latest spoilers say that Johnny is about to propose to Chanel for marriage soon. So maybe this is that! However, we are still leaning towards the whole Alex-Theresa expose! What do you think? Now that they are back together, Johnny wants to make it official. Thus, in the upcoming episodes, Chanel tells him to ask her properly. Which he perhaps does! Sarah and Xander fans have a lot to rejoice for during the week of January 15, 2024, on Days of Our Lives. As Sarah finally moves all her stuff into Xander’s apartment. While helping her with the stuff, Xander notices a mystery box. Sarah tries to keep it shut, calling it her “Xander Box.” As expected, Xander is moved and excited in equal parts by the info. He insists in the preview video that he must see the contents. The two then move in closer as passions erupt!

Days of Our Lives star, Bill Hayes, the wonderful actor who played Doug Williams for the long duration of 54 years, has passed away at the age 98. This news hits us right in the gut. We cannot really imagine a world without Doug, if we are being very fair. Days of Our Lives team confirmed the new of Bill’s passing. Talking about it Ken Corday, The Days of Our Lives creator shared that Bill was the heart and soul of the show.

A Longtime Friend 

Bill Hayes was like a friend we saw on our screens for a really, really long time. He played Doug, a character we loved, for more than five decades! That’s longer than many of us have been alive. Losing him feels like losing a part of our TV family. He did amazing things with the character, turning Doug from a tricky person into a charming romantic lead. When we think of Days of Our Lives, we think of a few things that come to mind right away: the hourglass, Deidre Hall and Marlena Evans, donuts, and Bill Hayes with his on-screen and off-screen wife, Susan Seaforth Hayes, who plays Julie. 

The love they showed on-screen was so real that they ended up on the cover of Time magazine in 1976. That’s a really big deal! Bill Hayes did more than just Days of Our Lives stuff. He was a singer and he even had a song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1955. He did Broadway shows and worked with really famous singers and dancers. So, when Doug came to Salem in 1970, he was not just a character but also a lounge singer. (And yes, he was a convict too. It is Salem, after all!)

A Friendly Guy On Days of Our Lives

The Days of Our Lives star Bill Hayes was not just a good actor; he was also a really friendly and warm person. Ken Corday, who knows him well, said Bill was always nice on set and had the same great personality we loved seeing on screen. The man we saw acting was very much the same man in real life. During his time on the show, Bill did a lot of things. He sang, danced a lot in the early days, became the mayor of Salem, and even played the Devil in a musical number with the famous Dick Van Dyke. That’s a lot of different things for one character to do!

Days of Our Lives has had a tough time lately. Just a bit more than a year ago, they said goodbye to Victor after John Aniston, another actor on the show, passed away. Losing two loved characters is really hard. In the end, Bill Hayes will always be in our hearts as a special part of the soap opera world.
