Although Roger was confident that his team could fight against the storm, they faced a grim fate. The expanding foam appeared useless, and the Garden Shaft was soon submerged in 30 feet of water. But it left everyone surprised by the origin of such a massive amount of water.

But just then, the Onslow Company discovered that it could be one of the old booby traps – famous as flood tunnels. In the 19th century, it was used to protect important artifacts. Perhaps the Laginas team had accidently dug the flood tunnels at a depth of 90 feet. Unfortunately, it put a hold on their excavation project. Even Dumas’s team didn’t know how long it would take to restart their investigation because of the undetermined water source. Later, Dr. Ian Spooner, along with Drs. Fred Michel and Matt Lukeman joined the War Room with the additional water test results.
