Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: Judith Chapman Makes A Shocking COMEBACK

Days of Our Lives: In the middle of the holiday hustle, as we were busy getting our holiday must-haves (aka wine and a bit more wine), there’s a nice piece of soap opera news. While we were caught up in holiday vibes, our beloved Young & Restless star Judith Chapman subtly hinted at a gift that soap opera fans won’t get to enjoy for a few months—a highly anticipated return to Days of Our Lives.

The Comeback of Judith Chapman: A Soap Opera Show in Salem

Get ready, Days of Our Lives fans, for an exciting twist that’s about to happen on your screens in Salem. Judith Chapman, a well-experienced soap opera star, is making a triumphant return, bringing back memories for those who fondly remember her as Angelica Devereaux from the late 1980s.

In recent news, Chapman not only spilled the beans about her return to Days of Our Lives but also shared some details about her collaboration with the exceptionally talented Greg Rikaart. Rikaart, known for his roles in both Days of Our Lives and Young & Restless, shared the screen with Chapman as she took over the role of Diana Colville in 2019, a character originally played by Genie Francis.

DOOL/Judith Chapman and Greg Rikaart

This time, their on-screen chemistry promises a fresh dynamic, sparking enthusiasm among fans. Chapman’s soap opera journey takes an interesting turn with a touch of typecasting. As Gloria on Young & Restless, she plays the mom of Rikaart’s character, Kevin. Now, in the Days of Our Lives universe, she steps into the shoes of Leo Stark’s mom, played by none other than Rikaart. It’s a soap opera crossover that not only adds layers to the interconnected world of daytime dramas but also leaves fans eagerly anticipating the unfolding drama.

Days of Our Lives: Judith Chapman’s “Double Duty”

As curious fans pointed out the perfect timing of Chapman’s return—just in time for Thanksgiving in Genoa City and now headed for Salem—she openly shared that she’s been doing a soap opera juggling act, doing what she affectionately called “double duty.” The soap opera veteran expressed that this experience has been “quite an honor,” showing her resilience and commitment to seamlessly transitioning between roles in different soap opera worlds. Given that Days of Our Lives tapes months in advance, fans will need to wait a bit. Chapman’s return is expected to hit our screens sometime in the spring or summer, promising a much-anticipated highlight in the soap opera calendar.

Furious Azest then unleashed her most critical spell, Frozen Throne, to end the face-off. She used the vision magic to create an ice barrier where she could use her full magic without limitations. But Desir inversed her trick, forcing her to use the magic sword. In the meantime, Percival and Doneta attacked Pram and Romantica. However, their pincer attack appeared weak in front of Romantica’s wind magic. As for Azest, she used her magical sword to attack Desir.
