Back in 2019, HBO’s groundbreaking series Euphoria stunned everyone. At some points, it was a little hard to watch due to the brutal honesty shown in it. But the same thing made the show different than others. And ever since the completion of its first season, the fans are getting desperate to see Euphoria Season 2. Euphoria is an American teen drama TV series that follows a group of teens through their experiences of drugs, sex, friendships, identity, love, and trauma. The show premiered on June 16, 2019, and after one month, HBO renewed it for the second season. In addition, the network released two special bridge episodes as well in December 2020 and January 2021, respectively.

Euphoria Season 2: Production Status!

The production for the second season of Euphoria was scheduled to begin last year. The cast and crew even shared pictures from the table read in March. However, they never got a chance to kick off the filming due to a global health pandemic. HBO President Casey Bloys told Deadline that the filming for Euphoria Season 2 would begin in early 2021. And it did begin in April 2021.

Zendaya also joined the sets of the second season in May 2021. As of now, everything is going pretty smooth, and everyone hopes that the production won’t face any more delays. Also, the cast and crew are yet to announce a wrap in its production, but they are done with most of its production. 

What To Expect From The Next Run?

Zendaya, the leading lady who portrayed the role of Rue, already told the fans that the second season of this groundbreaking drama would be even darker. It will be a lot different from what the fans have seen in its inaugural installment. Euphoria Season 2 will be even more intense and personal not only for Rue but for the entire cast.

She also revealed that her character would finally get the attention she deserved. However, it won’t be funny or easy to watch. While talking to Teen Vogue, Zendaya said, “It’s gonna be tough, and it’s gonna be devastating sometimes, but I believe Rue deserves all of that care when it comes to her character because I guess she represents a lot for so many people.”

First, Greg revealed that the “Queen Bee” pilot episode is slightly like a Beyonce-type story. But, he added, what if she was controlling the singer whom these people admire greatly as she’s an alien. As the official synopsis of this episode teases, a teen couple sneaks into a hospital to capture their favorite singer’s newborn baby’s photograph.

But, they end up getting more than they bargain. Greg continued that there’s a skeleton episode starring James Remar, which is a movie-lovers bonanza. He even confirmed that an adaptation of Joe Hill’s “Mums” will play a huge part in one of the episodes. Chambers Season 2: Will It Ever Return?

The series earned a 42% positive response on Rotten Tomatoes and 48 out of 100 on Metacritic. Well, the reception itself explains Netflix’s decision to cancel the show. But Chambers’ cancelation after only its first season left many fans to wonder about the new policy. And a year ago, Netflix’s former head of original content, Cindy Holland, explained it. She said that renewal decisions are chiefly based on cost vs. viewership analysis.

At the Comic Con@Home panel, the creator unveiled plenty of images teasing how season 7 would look. From the very first image, we can presume that Morgan, Grace, and baby Morgan are safe after the gruesome nuclear blast. However, they all use protective gear to travel outside the submarine, perhaps to collect food and necessary items. In another image, the couple appears to be in the submarine. Because currently, it’s the safest place for them to stay as it can resist radiation.

While the second teaser shows a glimpse of John Dorie Sr. and June, who took the shelter in the bunker before the blast. But the scene appears quite alarming as they would make a horrific discovery there. Another image focuses on Victor Strand, who flees away to a faraway place before the blast. Now he seems in good shape discussing something with the newcomer Will (played by Gus Halper). But what it could remain uncertain.

Some Survivors Are In A Safer Place

Well, we are glad to say that some survivors made it to a safer and far better place than Morgan. The recently released photo of Daniel, AI, Luciana, and Sarah at an unknown location opens the door to a new mystery to unravel. Well, in the closing moments, Daniel, Luciana, Wes, Jacob, Charlie, and Sarah were all rescued by a CRM helicopter. Although AI sent it for them, it is presumed that Isabelle was behind this plan. But Wes, Jacob, and Charlie are still missing in the image. Are they safe?

Else they become prey to Isabelle’s evil plan. Elsewhere, Sherry and Dwight, along with a family they met before the blast, took shelter in the bunker. However, their image shows that they made it to a safe place, just like AI and others. As they appear unmasked and cleaned, standing somewhere in the military personnel. But it remains a mystery how they reach that location.

Is Alicia Safe?

In the finale, Teddy locked Alicia inside a bunker, hoping to bring a revolution in this terrible zombie world. However, the creator didn’t share any image of Alicia yet, which makes fans a little worried about her future. Further, those who knew her location are already dead. Thus it would be exciting to see how the survivors would locate her in such a situation.

Big Sky Season 2: Has Filming Begun?

A few days ago, New Mexico Film Office confirmed that filming has begun on the second run in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. They planned the first season to film in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Las Vegas, Nevada. But the pandemic forced them to shift filming to Vancouver, British Columbia. As per the reports, season 2 will continue filming from August 2021 to April 2022.

Soon Michelle Lujan Grisham, New Mexico Governor, stated that Big Sky’s decision to film the second season in New Mexico indicates that they have created a thriving and resilient film industry. Further, it will also support thousands of New Mexicans by providing jobs till 2022. Even boosting many local businesses that offer services and goods to this industry. Meanwhile, Alicia J. Keyes, New Mexico Economic Development Department Cabinet Secretary, said that they are thrilled to have season 2 filming in their state.

The series EP Elwood Reid said that the exceptional crews, the amenities, and the natural beauty of the state have now outstripped their expectations. Reid added they are looking forward to seeing the magic of this landscape. Although the filming takes place in New Mexico, the storyline of the series won’t shift. After solving a tricky and dangerous case, private detectives Cassie Dewell and Jenny Hoyt reunite to investigate a car crash outside of Helena, Montana. However, after diving deeper into the case, they discover that it isn’t that simple as it seems.

But as they unfold the mystery of the car accident, they will encounter a group of unsuspecting teens. Including a flirtatious person from Jenny’s past, and a cruel outsider (Ren) hellbent on learning the answers.

After the cancelation, he had an interview with EW in which he revealed that they were not picked up for the future seasons. He also stated that they never promised any future, but he worked really hard along with other creators.

It is a very special and resounding piece of storytelling for them that they wanted to feature on one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world. Levy addressed the cliffhanger ending as well and talked about the stranger that everyone saw in the first season finale. The viewers would’ve seen more of him in I Am Not Okay With This Season 2, but they never got a privilege to make another season.
