Seven Seconds Season 2: Renewal Status!

When Netflix announced Seven Seconds, it was referred to as an anthology series. As a result, everyone thought it would certainly have a second season. Despite this fact, Netflix canceled this show after its first run. It seems like the showrunner planned something else, but Netflix decided to discontinue the show. However, Cindy Holland, vice-president of Netflix’s original content, stated that it is a limited series. And that’s why the streaming giant didn’t renew Seven Seconds Season 2. 

Cindy Holland’s entire statement reads, “We loved working with Regina, Veena, and the cast and crew of this show. Unitedly they built a compelling, timely, and appropriate crime drama. The first installment is a complete, stand-alone tale that we are pleased to feature on Netflix for years to come.”

What’s The Show About? 

The first season of Seven Seconds centered around Peter Jablonski, a white cop. He accidentally hit a black teenager named Brenton Butler with his car. Peter Jablonski called his friends on the force to the scene. Everyone assumed that Brenton is dead, and they cover up everything. But soon racial tensions began to rise in the face of crime and the lack of quick resolution of the case.

Seven Seconds Season 2: Release Date

The VP of Netflix’s original content already stated that it was a stand-alone series, and there won’t be Seven Seconds Season 2. Russian Doll Season 2: Who Will Be In The Cast?

No doubt, Natasha Lyonne will appear as the lead character, Nadia Vulvokov. Even there’s a strong possibility that Charlie Barnett as Alan Zaveri will return. Natasha confirmed that both Alan and Nadia are strangely and intrinsically linked to each other. Besides, Annie Murphy is tapped on an undisclosed role while Carolyn Michelle Smith will play a recurring role.

Sharlto Copley has also joined the cast and Ephraim Sykes will guest star in the sophomore run. Besides them, some of the first season cast will also return. These include Nadia’s friend Greta Lee as Maxine and Rebecca Henderson as Lizzy. Elizabeth Ashley as Ruth Brenner will return with Yul Vasquez as John Reyes. Russian Doll Season 2: Production Has Begun!

Initially, the production was slated to begin in March 2020. However, the ongoing pandemic halted their filming plans. But back in February 2021, the reports surfaced that production would start on March 1, 2021. Fortunately, production did begin as per the plan, with a handful of images leaked on social media. Further, it soon revealed that production began under the codename Black Gumball. As of now, filming is still underway.

Russian Doll Season 2: What To Expect From The Next Run?

Well, the first season finale left the viewers with plenty of doors to interpret the future of the series. Nadia and Alan somehow managed to overstep the realities in the closing moment, and they finally reunited. But it could be possible that it was merely one of the millions of timelines that could have happened. However, Natasha teased that in this season, the couple might find themselves again.

Next in September 2019, Netflix renewed the series for the fourth and the final season but reversed it in October 2020.

Glow Season 4: Renewal Status!

Is There Any Hope?

The sudden arrival of the Coronavirus pandemic halted the production of the final season. When the hiatus came, the cast and crew were filming the second episode. Unfortunately, the makers weren’t able to start the production again as it would be impossible to maintain the Covid-19 protocols due to the wrestling and heavily breathing involvements. Also, the cast of Glow Season 4 was pretty huge, and the arrival of the pandemic increased its production cost as well.

It looks like Netflix didn’t find the final season worth investing in, and they eventually cancel it in October 2020. The main reason behind this cancelation was Glow being a physically intimate and high-cost series. Later, Sunita Mani sent a letter to Netflix, which she uploaded on her social media as well. In the letter, she shared her thoughts about the cancelation of the series. In the caption, she also stated that this letter was not to save Glow, but it has some personal stuff that everyone wants to share.

But it seems like the producers hit their stop limit, and they’re not interested in investing more money in this historical drama. Therefore, the fans should accept that their favorite drama will not return for another run. 

Cindy Holland’s Statement!

The vice president of Netflix’s original content Cindy Holland released a statement after the cancelation of Marco Polo Season 3. In this statement, she expressed her gratitude to the people who were involved in this show.

Cindy stated, “We like to thank and are grateful to our allies on Marco Polo from the artists, whose performances were brilliant and top-notch; to the dedicated producers, including Dan Minahan, John Fusco, Patrick Macmanus, and their crew. They poured their hearts into the show, and of course Harvey, David, and our friends at The Weinstein Company, who were great partners from start to finish.” 

Marco Polo Season 3: Release Date

As previously mentioned, the probability of this historical drama returning is almost zero. And it is very unlikely for Netflix or any other production to pick up this show, especially after the great loss caused by its first two seasons. However, if some miracle happens and they decide to renew Marco Polo Season 3, then it might premiere by the end of 2023.

The executive producer Phoef Sutton, who last year boarded the series, said that everyone in the show will now explore a new phase in their lives. Besides, Meghan Ory as Abby O’Brien-Winters will return with Barbara Niven as Megan and Laci J. Mailey as Jess O’Brien. Emilie Ullerup as Bree O’Brien, Brendan Penny as Kevin O’Brien, and Andrew Francis as Connor O’Brien will also return. As well as Dianne Ladd as Nell O’Brien, will join Treat Williams as Mick O’Brien.

Chesapeake Shores Season 5: When Will It Release?

Finally, the long wait is over now. Chesapeake Shores Season 5 Episode 1, titled “A Kiss Is Still A Kiss,” will air tomorrow, August 15, at 8 pm ET only on Hallmark Channel. However, you can also catch the show on other live streaming services if the network isn’t available in your cable package.

During the virtual Television Critics Association on Friday, John cited that filming for the third run recently wrapped up in Europe. It took four months to shoot, but post-production is a lengthy process. Currently, the team is working on the post-production, which will require more months to finish.

Season 4 Filming Is Underway

While the creative team is still working on the third season post-production, John confirmed that the writers had already written the scripts for the fourth run. He added that both seasons have incredible scripts, and he utterly adores those scripts. As of now, it’s unclear whether or not filming has begun. But Donald Glover and Hiro Murai have been busy in the process of producing the fourth season. So even the team has already moved to Atlanta to start filming the fourth run.

Atlanta Season 3: What To Expect From The Next Run?

Netflix said in a statement that it’d been almost a year and a half and all they could do is bring Grace and Frankie duo into their lives now.

Soon, stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda announced yesterday in a hilarious video that the first four episodes are now available to stream on Netflix. Grace And Frankie Season 7: When Will Production Wrap Up?

As of now, the filming is yet to conclude. The production on the final run began as soon as the sixth season dropped on Netflix. Filming, in fact, started on January 27, 2020, but the surge of the COVID-19 halted their plans. Soon in April 2020, the star cast returned for the table read to support Meal on Wheels. Since then, they hadn’t released any news regarding the production.

What We Do in the Shadows is an American horror comedy mockumentary TV series. Jemaine Clement created the show for FX. It is an adaptation of a film of the same name. What We Do in the Shadows Season 3: Episode Titles Out

FX recently revealed the titles of the first three episodes of the mockumentary series’ third installment. In the ending moments of the previous season, the viewers saw Guillermo killing all the members of the Vampire Council and the immortal guests to save his masters. Now, the third season will likely feature Vampire Council hunting for every single one of them to take their revenge. Back in February, showrunner Paul Simms talked with Deadline. In the interview, he teased some details about What We Do in the Shadows Season 3 as well. 

He said, “Well, without revealing too much. Yes, obviously, the second season concluded with not only Guillermo killing a lot of important vampires, but the vampires he exists with. Our main characters now, understanding that he’s already a secluded vampire slayer, and now they know about it, and yeah, we pick up very directly.” Simms also teased that the household will get a hellhound to defend it. It is indicating that the return of the Vampire Council is inevitable, and they will come again and knock on their door sooner or later.

Many fans soon find it safe to promote their campaign #SaveTheOA in the hope that the streamer would pick it for the next run. Well, it shows the series has greatly influenced the viewers. Although Netflix has rescued several shows, it doesn’t feel like it would be the case with The OA. Since the streamer has canceled several popular series this year despite their strong viewership.

The Star Believes It Could Run More

Back in 2019, Jason said in an interview that they believed the series could run up to season 5. He said they have already mapped out how things would shift after season 2’s cliffhanger finale. At first, he thought the second season finale marked the show’s ending. However, the creators later explained where season 3 was going to be. There is so much to explore, yet it feels unbearable when they get the opportunity to do it.

Will It Return In Movie Format?

Unfortunately, unlike Sense8, which got a chance to conclude the show through a 2-hour movie, Netflix won’t do the same with The OA. As per the reports, the series creator Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij weren’t interested in wrapping up the series finale in a short film. Well, the series has a lot to share, and the movie wouldn’t grant them the apt time to wrap any story arcs the way they wanted. However, the film could be a great way to conclude everything.

Despite Netflix being mum, the creators never missed any chance to tease real-life puzzles, which made the fans believed that show is still in the cards. Zal shared the “Q Symphony” game to hype the fans’ expectations. Then, the creators shared a storm imaginary and captioned it in the show’s language. As per the theory, the letters correlate to the colors: yellow cyan, white tiles with letter f, and magenta means YCFM, You come find me? Is it? But the creators didn’t officially confirm anything yet.

Despite Harley Quinn’s original streaming home scrapped off DC yet confirmed that Harley Quinn Season 3 would return to continue her misadventures. Based on Bruce Timm and Paul Dini’s DC comic character of the same name, it follows Harley exploring her life without Joker.

However, in her journey to prove her worth, she joins the Legion of Doom and later formed her own group. Now that she returns with the third run, let’s see how she would deal with the new challenges.

Harley Quinn Season 3: How Things Will Move In The Next Chapter?

In the last season finale, after learning the true motive of Gordon, Harley teamed up with Two-Face to escape from Arkham. However, her attempt to stop Gordon ultimately turned Ivy and Kite Man’s wedding into a battleground. After realizing that Ivy doesn’t love him, frustrated and angry, Kite Man breaks up with her.
