The Boys Season 3: Amazon just started releasing the latest episodes for the second season of The Boys. It looks like Amazon is way too confident about their superhero show, The Boys. They have renewed the show for a third season as well. Back in July, In The Boys’ panel at Comic-Con@Home, the showrunner of the show Eric Kripke announced that Amazon had indeed renewed the show for a third season. He stated that “Amazon, in a bold and historic push to expand their ‘weirdo’ demographic, has green-lit Season 3 of The Boys.” In the same comic-con, the executive producer of the show Seth Rogen said that because the show has fans and people like it, Amazon has renewed it. What’s Coming Up Next?

The second season of The Boys is still streaming. The final episode of the season will release on October 8, 2020. So, we don’t have a clear idea of what could be coming next on the show. In an interview with GamesRadar, Rogen said that Erik has an idea of how the show would end that he likes. He is working towards it. But that is all he said about the show. The Boys Season 3: Production Updates!

It looks like the creators of the show are not wasting even a single minute. The team has already started working on The Boys Season 3. During the comic-con panel that happened in July, Kripke revealed that the quarantine fatigue hadn’t been an issue for anyone in the team. Their very talented scriptwriters have already started working on the show. They are working hard and making stories ready for the time when they can get back to the shooting. 

In an interview with Collider, Kripke revealed that they have the first four scripts for The Boys Season 3 ready. Though they are not yet ready, they are working on it. He tells that the writers are holding daily zoom calls. They are not losing any moment in this pandemic. The Boys are coming back swinging. 

Who Is Coming In?

Assuming and hoping that all the members who are in the second season of ‘The Boys’ are alive by the end, we can hope that all of the characters would come in for The Boys Season 3. However, that is not it. New faces will also join the cast for The Boys Season 3. One factor we know for sure in joining is Jensen Ackles. In the show, he will take on the role of The Soldier Boy, “the original superhero” who fought in the Second World War and became a super celebrity of American decades for decades. Jensen Ackles took onto Instagram to share the news.
