Last year at BlizzCon, Blizzard announced the arrival of Diablo 4. And ever since then, everyone has been waiting to know its release date. Its been eight years since the fans played the new game of the Diablo franchise. The players were really excited when the creators officially announced the fourth installment of the game. And now the announcement of BlizzCon 2020 again raised their hopes for the release of it.
Diablo 4 is an upcoming dungeon crawler RPG. The makers announced this game on November 1, 2019, at BlizzCon for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Diablo is one of the biggest franchises of Blizzard Entertainment alongside Overwatch. Now it seems that the players finally got the most anticipated release date of the fourth title of this game. Just continue reading to unveil all the latest details.
Diablo 4: Gameplay!
Back in 2019, after the announcement of the game, the creators released a dark cinematic trailer. And along with it, they revealed the gameplay trailer of the fourth title. They also confirmed some classes, and the fans will be pleased to hear that the Druid and the Barbarian will officially mark their return in Diablo 4. Blizzard is adding the concept of families with Diablo IV monsters. While these beasts appear visually diverse, they’ll have a basic theme. Meanwhile, Blizzard Entertainment has validated that the game will highlight keys that transform normal dungeons into endgame content.
Will It Be Releasing At BlizzCon 2020?
Everyone thought that this year BlizzCon would not take place because of the global pandemic. And they are half right because this year’s BlizzCon will take place next year virtually. It goes by the name Blizzconline, and it will be the very first virtual event of Blizzard Entertainment. The makers released a statement and the first half of it, “While conditions are keeping us from meeting in person this year, we’re setting together with a little something early next year to lead the spirit of BlizzCon into the form of an online show.”
However, they didn’t announce anything about the release of the fourth title of the Diablo series. Everyone knows that Diablo and Overwatch 2 are the most anticipated games of the Blizzard Entertainment. Both of them are in development, and the chances are very slim that it will release at BlizzCon 2020. But the fans will certainly get an update of Hearthstone and World Of Warcraft.
The second half of the above statement reads, “We still have a lot of planning to do, and it’ll be some time before we’re able to share more details—but we desired to provide a heads-up on how you can be a part of the online fun.” Since Blizzard is still preparing for this virtual event, therefore it is likely that they will announce the release date of Diablo 4 during BlizzConline. The creators will release more details about the event very soon. And once it is out, the picture will become clear.
