The Crown Season 5: Release Date Confirmed! 

This comes as the good news. Netflix has confirmed that The Crown Season 4 will release on November 15 this year. The filming of both seasons three and four were done back-to-back. This means that The Crown Season 4 was already in production when the third season was released in 2019. As a piece of good news, the show had almost completed the shooting before March 2020; the time pandemic locked down everything.

In August, the creator of the show- Peter Morgan, revealed that their team has decided not to film any more footage and work with what they already have. In an interview, he said that to hit their pre-decided release schedule for The Crown Season 4, they need to start working on editing and finalizing the episodes. Things are only taking more time because of safety regulations. It looks like all of it is done and will reach our screens soon.

Morgan thinks that it is the perfect time and space to end the story. 

However, this change of heart only happened in July 2020, as they have confirmed that they will stick to the original plan and spread the show over six seasons. In the interview, he said that when they started discussing the storylines, they felt that there was a lot of complexity and richness in these stories, and they should just go back to making six seasons. With that said, he made clear that the plan to do six seasons does not mean that they would bring the show closer to the present day. They would just give them more space to show the same period in great detail.

When Will The Show Release?

NBC officially renewed Manifest for the third season in June 2020. The show’s renewal was delayed a bit. Also, fans had started wondering if the show would come back even before it was renewed. Showrunner Jeff Rake revealed that this delay was because of some off-screen negotiations between Warner Bros. and NBC. Now the news has surfaced that Manifest Season 3 will release next year in January 2021. However, it is still unclear how the team will start productions amid the pandemic.

While they are working on the new case, Elise gets scared by what most fans believe is a Lipstick Face Demon. This demon has haunted Lamberts and also took away their son- Dalton, in the first movie. 

The demon was never really killed. He had just lost his ability to enter the mortal world using Dalton. If he finds another way to get into this world, he might come back to avenge his defeat from Lamberts. We hope that the Lamberts have their memories of this demon intact so they can save themselves. Elsie’s ghost might help Lamberts again. 

Writer-Creator Leigh Whannell To Step Back

There are a number of questions about Insidious 5 among the fans. There are many questions about the possible return or not that fans haven’t got answers to. However, there is something we are sure of. Leigh Whannell, who has been a big creative influence for the first four Insidious movies, will no longer have any association with the series. Whannell has written and acted as the co-producer of all these movies. He has also directed the third film of the franchise. However, now it looks like he is walking away. 

In an interview, Whannell says that he thinks it is very unlikely that he would be involved in Insidious 5. He expects to get a call when and if the team decides to make more of the movie. He indeed enjoyed being with the franchise for so long, but now he does not think he has anything else to offer. The creator thinks that it will be better if someone else could lead these movies. The writer did not speak of a name who might take over the films. 

Insidious 5: When Is It Happening?

When Insidious: The Last Key, released in 2018, the movie became a huge commercial and critical success. After the success, rumors about a possible Insidious 5 started making rounds. Reports revealed that the biggest reason behind this idea was a huge success. Back in 2018, Gamespot reported that Jason Blum from Blumhouse Productions has said that they might be adding another movie in the series. But that was a thought they were fighting with. The fourth movie was tagged as ‘The final chapter,’ and that gave the impression that it was the end of the series. But now they might bring more. 

However, now in a recent interview, actress Lin Shaye said that it is possible that Insidious 5 would never happen. She has been quite positive about the movie throughout. However, now, Shayne seems to have lost that positivity. In an interview, Shaye spoke about Insidious and her character Elise Rainier. The Isekai Maou light novel series has been running since 2014. As of June 2020, thirteen volumes of the series have been published. This leaves around ten books for sequels of the anime. Hence, there is indeed enough source material for the upcoming set of episodes.
