How Not To Summon A Demon Lord or Isekai Maō to Shōkan Shōjo no Dorei Majutsu originated as a light novel series back in December 2014. Within a few months, the LN series gained immense popularity, which led to the renewal of several adaptations. This includes a manga adaptation and an anime series. The 2018 anime attained a fanbase of its own and became a commercially successful project for Studio Ajia-do Animation Works.

With its unique story and animation style, the anime adaptation became a known name among otakus. It was appreciated by fans of the Isekai genre and critics from around the globe. Hence, the demand for a sequel increased with the passing of time. Luckily, after two years, the second season was finally renewed. The news was announced over the official social media accounts of the series. Moreover, the anime’s latest installment will be called ‘How Not To Summon A Demon Lord Omega.’

Change In Animation Studios

A few months ago, fans were quite afraid about the future of their favorite anime. The chances for the renewal of How Not To Summon A Demon Lord Season 2 were dim because of its studio’s history. The animation studio of the first season, Ajio-do Animation Works, is infamous for not producing a sequel. Is there enough source material?

The Isekai Maou light novel series has been running since 2014. As of June 2020, thirteen volumes of the series have been published. Besides, the LN is still in the run and might continue for a few more installments. However, the anime adaptation of the books covered the plot of only three light novel volumes. This leaves around ten books for sequels of the anime. Hence, there is indeed enough source material for the upcoming set of episodes. 

How Not To Summon A Demon Lord Omega is likely to pick up its plot after the third LN volume. Hence, it might feature the story of Volume 4 through 6. Based on the source material, Diablo and his cohorts would get involved with the political turmoil of the church. As a result, Diablo ends up in-fighting the dangers that are harming the kingdom. In the process, he accidentally rescues the high Priest of the Church of Celestials alongside Lumachina Weselia. 

It turns out that she was being targeted for assassination by Gewalt, a Church Paladin. Although after an incident where Lumachina saves Gewalt, the Okama gives up on being a Paladin and ends up joining another organization. Is The Show Renewed?

FX had renewed Snowfall season 4 even before the third season was released. The show has been doing exceptionally well on both audience and critics’ meter. The first three seasons were released consecutively from 2017-2019. Snowfall Season 4 was also supposed to release in 2020, but this delay in production has to shift the release date to 2021.

Talking about what would happen to the show after Singleton’s demise, co-creator Dave Andron stated that they are trying to tell us how bad everything will get. Snowfall season 4 will push the storylines deeper into the 1980s. It is the same period when the repercussions of accessible cocaine start getting more evident. Andron revealed that that the 1989 edition of the New York Times reported that this cocaine problem was a complete plague. Continuing the interview, Andron says that a part he had very difficulty in understanding was when the show started their big turn point for the African-American communities. The cocaine problem kind of wiped a generation off. 

Andron continued to say that America was still coping up with the crack addiction when Singleton came up with this idea. At the same time, he got associated with a number of productions and even won many awards. It took him some time to take the leap and become the co-creator of Snowfall. Actress Michael Hyatt said Singleton told truthful stories about people who have been ignored, the community that has been looked down on. He told stories that society didn’t want to get in the limelight. He forced everyone to see the truth. While Singleton is not there to tell more stories, but the inspiration that he has left behind will inspire many.

As of now, the renewal status of the third season is canceled. Also, there is no news of any other network picking up the show as well. Therefore it is hard to predict its release date. Succession Season 3: Production Expected To Delay Again

Recently, Succession star Brian Cox shared that they are hoping to resume filming in November. However, considering the current health crisis, the filming is still up in the air. Creator Jesse Armstrong assured that the entire cast and crew members would return to studios in late 2020 to resume filming in New York. However, Brain confirmed that chances are high to continue the filming in early 2021, as the shooting would take place in the severely affected area in New York.

Matthew MacFayden added that they supposed to begin filming in late April. However, just like many series’, Succession also got affected due to the ongoing crisis. That resulted in the delay of the filming for a while. Also, the filming was expected to resume in autumn. But, the Hollywood guidelines hadn’t allowed them to continue filming in New York. Thus, many series have shifted to begin filming in January.

Writer Lucy Prebble confirmed that they had completed their writing part. However, there are no big changes in the script. That means the series would revolve around the Roy family. It would pick up from where it left off. But, it wouldn’t address the ongoing pandemic as a central plot as everyone has been dealing with it. So, they don’t want to remind them of the bitter present. However, it would play a specific role in the next season.

Further, Sarah Snook teased that if the writer has to introduce the storyline’s ongoing pandemic, it will come out in an elegant and classy way. However, Prebble hinted that interesting events are aligned with an amazing plot in the next season. She continued that James Murdoch would take action as he promoted the letter of him leaving the New Corps. Even Roman’s secret investor might reveal in the upcoming season.

Brian Cox Survived From COVID-19

Recently, Brain Cox has revealed that he has tested positive during a routine diabetes blood test. However, the doctor congratulated him as he had the antibodies. It means his body won’t get affected by the virus besides contracting it. He hasn’t seen any symptoms before the test. Despite his lousy health, Brain shared his excitement to resume filming for the next season.
