Line Of Duty Season 6 finally resumed its production again. After the sudden outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, the cast and crew of the series had to halt the production midway. The fans are undoubtedly not liking this delay, but they don’t have to worry about it anymore because the cameras started rolling again. And on the first day back on the sets, the creators of the series also teased some details.
Line Of Duty is a British police procedural TV series. Jed Mercurio created this show for BBC One. It made its debut on June 26, 2012, and became the most-watched premiere of BBC Two. The network released five seasons of the series so far. And all of them received a tremendous response. The show was also voted as the third best British crime drama of all time. The sixth and the upcoming installment was ordered way back in 2017 by the BBC.
Production Status Of The Sixth Season!
Earlier in March this year, the global health crisis forced every industry to go on a hiatus. But now everything is finally started to move again. And in many places in the world, the creators resumed the filming of their shows. On September 1, 2020, the creator, Jed, officially confirmed that their crew continued the production for Line Of Duty Season 6.
Martin Compston also talked about the changes that will take place in this season. He said, “There’s going to be huge changes off-camera, just in terms of the rules and social distancing, how many persons can be on set… just somebody off-camera using masks and whatnot. So, it’s advancing to be a totally different feel. But, we really wouldn’t want to endanger the scripts. The scripts are so good.”
