Recently, news came in that The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons will join the next season. He has been a part of many of Ryan Murphy’s production. However, it’s quite odd since Ryan has cast him in his movie, Normal Heart and another haunting series called Hollywood on Netflix. Seen as Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory, Jim has received four Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in Comedy series. Also a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in Television series Comedy or Musical. It’s hard to believe that Ryan never offered him any role for his horror-anthology. However, Jim explained that it’s all because of his tight schedule.

In an interview, Jim stated: “Whether it was because of Big Bang or not, and time schedules and stuff. It had never come up”. Jim further revealed that he is ready if someday Ryan comes up and offers a role in American Horror Story.

A Big Surprise Waiting For Jim

Further, he discussed the significant projects he had recently worked with Ryan Murphy, including Natural Heart and The Boys, which is produced by Ryan. However, Jim never knew that one day Ryan would offer him such a unique role in his horror series, Hollywood. He said he was amazed when Ryan offered him the show. It was a joyful moment, and all the hardship until now has paid well.

He said: “I was so pleasantly surprised when he (Ryan) came to ask (regarding Hollywood), and why I felt myself jump at it. It felt like a gift, and that’s exactly what the experience turned into. That’s not to say that every day was roses. But it was much more fun and rewarding than I would’ve ever guessed it to be.”

The retired principal of Garfield High School, Jefferson, has no other option left to return as Black Lightning, to protect his city from the misdeeds of the criminal gang.

Black Lightning Season 4: Renewed!

In late January, The CW has renewed Black Lightning Season 4, and its fellow superhero shows based on DC Comics. On average, 1.09 million viewers have watched Black Lightning till now. Further, the series has gained a 10% rise in the viewership compared to its previous performance. It also earned a 100% positive response from the audience on Rotten Tomatoes.

What Will Happen Next?

The third season finale concluded with great news, as ASA is no more. Even Green Light Babies or metahuman children survived. The finale witnessed Black Lightning, Thunder, and Lightning hand over the briefcase to the special Congressional committee. Though everything seems in peace now, as ASA descends and the evil Agent Odell is in prison, the crime-master Tobis Whale is ready to reclaim his throne of Freeland’s underworld. The former minion, Lala is currently looking after that position. But, presently, Lala, is supported by Lady Eve, who’s backing by mysterious Shadow Board. So, it seems that the fight for the throne wouldn’t be peaceful at all. Further, it would create more trouble for the superheroes in the upcoming season.

Black Lightning Season 4: When To Expect?

Black Lightning achieved a slot in The CW’s upcoming lineup. However, the official announcement for the release date is yet to make. Due to the ongoing pandemic, it’s uncertain when the fourth season would premier. It was supposed to air in fall 2020. Virgin River Season 2: Renewal Status & Release Date

In December 2019, Netflix renewed the show for its second season. Before the streamer has renewed the show’s second season, the filming is wrapped up on December 17, 2019. The filming finished before the global pandemic hit the world. However, a few shots were left to film. That begin filming in Vancouver in Canada instead of rural California, where the series set. On the bright side, the series is untouched from the ongoing pandemic. Since filming wrapped up three months before the production paused in March. Earlier, it was expected Virgin River Season 2 to premiere in the late summer. However, the series creator and producers haven’t spoken yet to Netflix about its premiere date. About The Show

The fantasy series- The Protector revolves around a young shopkeeper- Hakan, whose world changes when he comes to know that he is connected to a secret, ancient order. He is the one who will have to protect Istanbul. Initially, in the story, Hakan looks like an ordinary guy in the city with a population of about 15 million. Eventually, he learns that his hometown is under danger from some mystical Immortals, and he has to stop them all. It’s a task he isn’t prepared for and even tries to resist. 

How Was The Fourth Season?

Netflix has released the fourth season of The Protector. Since it is the last season, we quite feel that it is important to give homage to all other seasons of the show. When we first met Hakan, he was just a shopkeeper and a part-time con artist. Eventually, things change in his life after his father dies. After that, Hakan meets Loyal Ones, Kemal, and Zeynep. These Loyal Ones are associated with a historical secret order which is responsible for shielding their town from the immortals. Hakan is himself a Protector who can kill the Immortals and stop destruction using the talismanic shirt that gives him mystic powers. The main Immortal is Faysal Erdem, who wanted to bring back his now lifeless lover Ruya using Hakan’s blood. 

In the last season, there were many clues from start to finish. The uncommon fantasy exhibits came to a smart ending that completed the series. Over the seasons, all viewers have witnessed Hakam and Zeynep’s closeness. At first, it was all very complicated when Zeynep had to take the Immortal “treatment,” which proved that she was still loyal to Immortals. She had killed Burak, with who she had an affair earlier. Zeynep’s murder spree went for long, and she became the hero. In the fourth season, we saw Hakan and Zeynep handling everything nicely by the end. Zeynep became the professor, and Hakan went back to work. 

The fourth season featured the dual stories with many past and present scenes from the Ottoman Empire from 1459 to the current day. The story was great and felt oriented. The fourth season did justice to all the villains by making them look like misplaced souls and not senseless villains. Fans seem to be quite happy with the show. Keeping in mind the kind of reviews and viewership The Protector was able to bag, we can expect that Netflix will bring more Turkish shows in the upcoming future. 

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t renewed Always A Witch Season 3 yet. However, the streamer hasn’t canceled it too. Hopefully, soon, the streamer would break the silence on the third season of the series. The first season, ordered as direct-to-series, aired on January 1, 2019, following the second season’s renewal. The second season soon aired on Netflix on February 28, 2020. Although, the series created in the Spanish language, which was dubbed on Netflix.

Always A Witch, created by Ana Maria Parra, is a fantasy romantic comedy-drama series on Netflix. It follows Carmen Eguilez (Angely Gaviria), a witch from 1646. The series set in both 1646 and present-day Cartagena, Colombia. In which, Carmen is charged for performing witchcraft. According to the 17-century colonial Colombia rules, she is sentenced to death by burning at stake. While waiting for her punishment, she made a deal with Aldemar (Luis Fernando Hoyos), an immortal and powerful wizard. Aldemar sends Carmen in 2019 by time-traveling in the future where nobody believes in witches and witchcraft. But in return, Carmen can’t use her magic there.

Always A Witch Season 3: Renewal Status!

On February 28, 2020, Always A Witch Season 2 aired on Netflix. However, the series has collected mixed reviews from the critics. Many praised the concept and having a strong black female lead character in the series. Meanwhile, some have criticized the romance between slave and slave master, including the lead actress keenness to return as a slave in the 17-century. So, she can be with her white American slave master boyfriend.

It reflected in the audience response as well, since the second season gained 6.3 ratings on IMDb. So would it be a reason that Netflix rethinking the series for its third chapter? Generally, Netflix takes a couple of months to decide the future of the show. However, the streamer hasn’t renewed Always A Witch Season 3 yet. But, we can expect that soon the streamer would break their silence on the series’ future.

Always A Witch Season 3: What To Expect?

After surviving from the cruel slavery world in the 17-century, Carmen struggled with dishonesty and betrayal in the present world. In the previous season, Carmen becomes more powerful and started living an independent life. The 19-year-old Afro-Colombian girl soon adapts to the modern world. Later, she joins the college and makes new friends there. They are far different from what she had in the 17-century.

Though she is independent now and has started a new life, she’s still a witch, which soon put her in trouble. However, it helped her gain more power as she was determined to rescue her mother from the slavery world. She travels back in time and successfully rescued her mother from there. While returning in present-day, Cristobal De Aranoa (Lenard Vanderaa) her slave master’s son and lover followed her in the 21-century.

However, when he realized her persona is changed and everyone supports her there, he started asking to return in their time where everything was more comfortable. Will Carmen returns with Cristobol to reunite their love? Or will she select the freedom she’s having now?
