Quibi has greenlit Most Dangerous Game Season 2. Recently, the series creator Nick Santora has been working to take back the rights of the series from the streaming platform, to turn the series in a stand-alone movie. However, the series has been renewed for another season. So, it’s unclear whether the streamer handed them their primary rights. Most Dangerous Game, created by Nick Santora, Scott Elder, and Josh Harmon, is an action-drama series on Quibi. The series adapted from Richard Connell’s short stories of the same name. It follows Dodge Tynes’s (Liam Hemsworth) struggles to stabilize his financial condition. Dodge and his wife were expecting a baby while he was working on solving his debt issue. Later, he got an offer to participate in a life-threatening game that can provide him immense wealth. However, the game is built on panic, fear, and paranoia, as hunters are everywhere to kill Dodge, and he has to run and survive. The long he survives, the higher prize he’ll achieve.

Renewed For The Second Season

Most Dangerous Game has officially been renewed for the second season. The series got a mixed review from the audience. It gained 7.4 ratings on IMDb and 59% on Rotten Tomatoes. In an interview with Deadline, showrunner Nick Santora announced that the upcoming season would center on a new runner, and also Christoph Waltz is back. The screenwriter already wrapped up the second season’s scripting. The only thing left is the filming of the second season.

Nick further stated that they are hoping to return on set when everything gets cleared up. Furthermore, he teased that the upcoming season would film in New York. He said: “We’re prepping it now to film it when there’s a handle on filming safely in the time of COVID-19. The second season will take place in my hometown of New York, and we’re going to be chasing that poor person all over New York, Long Island.”

Most Dangerous Game Season 2: Quibi Dealing Rights

In the interview, Nick spoke about the series rights. He said he’s dealing with taking the first rights of the show from the streaming platform. There’s a potential buyer who’s interested in creating Most Dangerous Game as a film, and it will be a big deal if they crack it. Just take those ten-minute sections and work with the composer to enhance those musical clues, get the finalized scene, and ready for action.

A little bit of effort can turn into a nine-hour and fifty-minute film that will work well. Further, it would be an excellent opportunity to reach a massive audience with a featured movie. Is The Show Renewed?

SBS- the original production company of the series hasn’t greenlit the show for Vagabond Season 2 yet. The lead actor of the show- Seung-gi spoke about what he feels of the renewal. He said that he thinks all fans who have seen the show would be frustrated after season 1. It has left them in that space. Seung-gi feels that there is a lot of stories that need to be told. He revealed that he himself is waiting for Vagabond Season 2.

Unfortunately, the last time we heard was back in November 2019 when a representative from the Vagabond team spoke about a possible Vagabond Season 2. Ever since then, no update has made grounds. While hinting about a second season, the representative said that the show was actually planned and produced with more than one season in mind. However, Season 2 hasn’t been confirmed yet. The producers are still reviewing actors’ writers and directors. 

Vagabond Season 2: Release Date 

In the same interview, the representative revealed that Vagabond took 11 months of productions and the pre-production period of about the same months. This means that if Vagabond Season 2 gets into works, it will almost be a year’s wait. So, we can expect the show to come back in 2022, or 2023 maybe. Netflix’s Unsolved Mysteries started airing on July 1, 2020. So, it’s too early for Netflix to renew Unsolved Mysteries Season 2. However, this iconic documentary with cold unsolved cases has been revived on Netflix. After being wrapped up on NBC and CBS. Although the original series creators John Cosgrove and Terry Dunn Meurer are returning with Stranger Things as producers, to bring more jaw-dropping cases to thrill their audience.

Has Netflix Renewed The Series?

Netflix has defined Unsolved Mysteries in volumes instead of seasons, and this change is because of specific reasons. Netflix has initially ordered a twelve-batch of episodes of Unsolved Mysteries. However, earlier this July, Unsolved Mysteries started airing with six episodes. Netflix often splits its original series into two parts. So, there’s a high possibility that rest six episodes would serve as the second half of the first season.

It’s too early to assume whether the other remaining six episodes would be the first volume’s half part, or they would serve as its second season. However, one of the series members stated that the first season of Unsolved Mysteries isn’t over yet. So, it’s pretty clear that Netflix has yet to renew Unsolved Mysteries for the second season.

The first five episodes of the series follow strange death. While the last episode follows 1969 Berkshire County UFO sightings, which is part one. That means the second part of this puzzle would solve in the second half of the series.

Unsolved Mysteries also confirmed that Netflix had ordered 12 batches of episodes by posting on their website. That reads: “In 2020, Netflix is releasing 12 new episodes of Unsolved Mysteries. Produced by Cosgrove/ Meurer productions and 21 Laps.”

Unsolved Mysteries Season 2: What Will Happen?

In an interview, the co-creator Terry Dunn revealed that series isn’t just centered on America’s cases. They have a team of researchers who look for international cases around the world. They target different countries and search for the weird incidents that matched with the show’s theme. He further stated that some of the episodes are shot internationally. In which, their team worked with people on the field to deal with language issues. So, the second half would appear foreign to the audience who doesn’t belong to that part of the country.

Unsolved Mysteries Season 2: When To Expect?

Unsolved Mysteries filming was delayed because of the COVID-19 outbreak. That forced them to stream their first six-batch of episodes on their scheduled time. However, the creators already handed three episodes to Netflix. So, only three episodes are left to film. Most of the filming is done internationally. Thus, currently, the team is waiting for government orders. Hence it’s possible that another six-batch of the episodes would land on Netflix in late 2020.
