The Four Season 3: Fox’s American reality TV show- The Four: Battle for Stardom, a.k.a The Four is a music competition. The show first premiered in 2018 and was eventually renewed. The second season released only a few months after the first season. The winner of the show was awarded a recording contract with Republic Records. Evvie McKinney and James Graham have won the show for season one and two, respectively. 

Ever since the second season concluded, fans have been looking forward to know who will win the third season. They have been desperately looking forward to The Four Season 3. Here are all the details about the installment

What’s The Format?

In the beginning round of the show, new challengers come in and earn their seat by performing in front of panelists and the audience. The judges then vote by either saying a yes or a no. If the challenger received a yes, they proceed to the next round, where they have to compete with the show members. After the challenge, the audience gets to vote for the contestant who they think deserves the seat. The winner gets a seat, and then they have to face a new challenge again. 

The second season saw four contestants competing against new artists to make their spot on the show. By the end, one of the artists got an opportunity to come back and have a seat in the finale. The winner was then crowned and then offered a contract with Republic records.

Until now, the judges had been making all the decisions on the show. So, including fans in the decision-making process, public voting could prove really beneficial for the show. More Country Music On The Four

The Four has always proved itself to be a show that highlighted diversity. Until now, viewers have seen several rappers, vocalists, pop, and R&B sings. One thing missing on the show is Country music. In a survey about favorite music genres, most Americans revealed that they liked country music. So, that could be coming in as a part of The Four Season 3. 

A Fourth Judge Could Join

The show initially started with four judges, but then it ended up with being three. So, it would be great if they could add a fourth judge on in the format. There are several faces like Scott Borchetta and Taylor Swift, who have been a part of other reality shows, so could The Four be looking for someone with prior experience? 

Bring Back The Original Four

In the first season, The original Four members could not make it past the first two weeks. In the second season, the last two were original members. That was important because while some seats may rotate, it would bring inconsistency. Plus, they could add more episodes giving singers more time to perform so people could feel connected. 

The Four Season 3: Renewal & Release Date

The previous season, that is, The Four Season 2 concluded in August 2018. Ever since then, fans have been asking about the show. However, Fox has not announced anything regarding the show yet. The Four Season 3 was expected to release sometime in January 2019, but it didn’t, and Fox did not release any official statement as well. So, we will have to wait until we get official news about the release of The Four Season 3. 

Crossing Swords Season 2 got greenlit soon after the first season concluded on Hulu. However, Hulu doesn’t reveal the reason for its early renewal. They didn’t even make Crossing Swords ratings publicly. But, the show gained average ratings according to other sources. The first season consists of ten episodes. So it could be possible that the second season would consist of ten episodes by following the streaming service criteria.

Crossing Swords, created by Tom Root and John Harvatine IV, is an adult animated stop-motion comedy series on Hulu. It follows the story of a goodhearted peasant Patrick. He lands a coveted squire situation at the royal castle where his dream job turned into a nightmare. There he discovered that his beloved kingdom is operated by a hornet’s nest of the horny emperor, swindler, and crooks. Unfortunately, Patrick’s boldness made him the black sheep in his family. Now, his fugitive siblings are back to make his life more miserable. The series follows war, blood, and full-frontal nudity.

Renewed For Next Season

Hulu has renewed its stop-motion animated series Crossing Swords for the next season. Crossing Swords Season 2 got renewed soon after its first season wrapped up on Hulu. The first season consists of ten episodes, which premiered on June 12. However, Hulu doesn’t reveal Crossing Swords’ viewership yet. It’s pretty clear that the show hit the streaming platform well, which made them renewed it so early.

As per IMDb, Crossing Swords got 6.6 ratings. Wherein on IGN.com, the series earned 3 out of 10. And on Rotten Tomatoes, the earned 18% ratings from the audience. However, the overall ratings Crossing Swords received is 87%. As of now, the animation series is easy to create than filming live-action. Although, production started from June 12 by following all the health-protocol. But, an animated series can be created remotely. So, it can be one of the reasons that Hulu started streaming more and more animated series to increase its ratings.

Crossing Swords Season 2: What Will Happen?

Hulu released a short teaser to celebrate the renewal of the second season. It’s quite clear that everything is now turning into its extreme level in the upcoming season. When the king says “welcome to the next level” while ordering its army for a new battle. You can see Patrick saying, “I’m freaking out,” and everyone is getting for the next faceoff with dragons and more. Crossing Swords Season 2 could consist of more blood, stupidity, battle, and nudity.

Paradise PD took down the Kingpin and Dobby in the dramatic finale but immolated himself by crashing the chopper into the nuke. Patriot Season 3: Why Cancelled?

Amazon has not yet issued any word about why the show canceled. However, a report issued by Deadline hinted that Michael Dorman, the lead who plays John Tavner, has moved on to another cast for an upcoming science fiction series for Apple. The report mentioned that Amazon would most likely not renew the show for Patriot Season 3. If they ever do, they will have to work around Dorman’s schedule as he will be busy with the Apple Please. 

What Was The Show About?

The show- Patriot revolves around John Tavner, a U.S. intelligence who survives his Midwestern corporate cover in the first season. Then he finds himself in a situation where he has lost his bag that had around 11 million euros. He could not reach even a little close to influence Iran’s presidential election. 

In the second installment of the show, John’s father orders more extreme measures to keep things going. In Patriot Season 2, they go on to assassinate the pro-nuclear candidate in a heavily guarded space in Paris. The plot was very interesting and easily grabbed everyone’s attention. The season had 18 episodes and one of the one interesting plot lines. 

Patriot’s Critical Reception

The first season of the show bagged really great reviews from viewers and critics alike. Rotten Tomatoes reviewed the show with 91% ratings based on 27 reviews. The website tagged the show as dark, quirky, and funny. The series is savvy and enough to watch. A critic from Metacritic assigned the show a score of 68 out of 100 and called it a favorable review. 

The second season bagged positive reviews too. Rotten tomatoes graded the show will a 100% approval with an average rating of 6.42. Metacritic scored it as 80 out of 100. They seemed to be really great reviews, but the show got canceled, and now there’s nothing we can do about it. However, there is still one thing we could do, and that is to hope Amazon brings us more shows like Patriot.

The Cornish period drama- Poldark concluded with the fifth season of the show in July 2019. However, many viewers have been asking about the future and if they would get more of the show. Instead, it took on the books of the series that covered the 11 years between the seventh and the eighth novels, The Angry Tide and The Stranger from the Sea.

The screenwriter- Debbie Horsfield, revealed that Winston Graham had left many hints in the eighth book about many events that could come in the future. But he has not yet revealed how Ross achieved the transformation. Horsfield went on to say that the storyline they used was just a starting point for them. It was just a roadmap to navigate through season 5.

Andrew, Winston Graham’s son, continued to endorse his father’s methodology, he kept looking at the historical context. Andrew even used it to drive real people and events. The fifth season did not complete the adaption of all the Poldark novels. This means that there’s more scope that can be covered in further seasons if the BBC wants to continue the series—the last season covered book seven and a little bit between before that. There are in total 12 books, so there are almost five novels left that could be covered. 

Is Season 6 Happening? 

Even if the news is really heartbreaking, it does not look like Poldark Season 6 is happening. The BBC had only planned to create five seasons of the drama. The lead actor Aidan Turner revealed that when they started Poldark, their main aim was to cover as many books as they could. That took them five seasons. The new trailer for Doom Patrol Season 2 teased that things are going weirder than before. In the previous season finale, the team discovered that The Chief is responsible for their tragic condition. And now they have to live with Dr. Caulder’s daughter Dorothy Spinner who can bring imaginary people in the real-world with her psychic powers. At the end of the finale, every member shrunk in their miniature version, though rescued by the Negative Man (Matt Bomer). Now, they have to struggle to turn to their normal size. Rita (April Bowlby) manages to master her abilities to deal with future problems in the trailer.

Doom Patrol Season 2 streams on both DC Universe and HBO Max next week on 25 June. The series will consist of nine episodes, in which three episodes will stream on the premiere day. And the rest six episodes will arrive weekly following the premiere date.
