What Is The Show About?

Godfather of Harlem follows Bumpy Johnson- the infamous crime boss who came back to his neighborhood in Harlem after ten years in prison. On his return, he finds out that his neighborhood is now in shambles. 

Now, the streets are ruled by an Italian mob. So, Bumpy has to take on the Genovese crime family and get back into power. In his battle, he forms a team with preacher Malcolm X. This catches Malcolm’s political rise amidst the mob war and social upheaval that could even tear the city apart.  

Godfather of Harlem Season 2: Plot Details

Details about what could be coming up on Godfather of Harlem Season 2 are still under wraps. However, Chris Brancato- the executive producer of the show, revealed that he was interested in covering civil rights, and the crime happening in the 60s in Harlem is the second season. 

He says that they want to feature the police brutality, drug addiction, and the gang warfare back in the time. They also want to include the ghetto’s situation. It surely feels like the creators have many ideas they are considering for the second installment. A vast and really interesting storyline will be coming up in Godfather of Harlem Season 2. Love Life Season 2: Renewed?

After seeing the show an enormous response, HBO Max took no time in renewing the show for its second installment. The creators gave the green light to Love Life Season 2 just a few hours after the release of the debut season’s finale. Kevin Reilly, Chief Content Officer at HBO Max, President, TNT, TBS, and truTV, also shared his feeling on the first renewal of the network. He said, “It’s so satisfying to see the show welcomed as an immediate hit. We are pleased to pick up the second season of our first Max scripted original comedy.”

Executive Producer of the show, Paul Feig, also talked about the renewal in his recent interview. He said, “We were excited to be the first scripted series to debut on HBO Max, and now we’re doubly happy to be their first, second season pickup. Our connection with the entire team at the network has been pleasing, and we can’t wait to dig in for more. We’re loving life at HBO, Max!”

Second Season Will Feature Whole New Story!

At the time of the renewal, the creators also informed the fans that the following season would no longer be about Anna Kendrick’s Darby Carter. The second season will also take place in New York City, but it will tell a whole different story. The fans will see a new central character for the second season. HBO Max also teased about this new character’s journey and released a short description. It reads, “One which explores what occurs when you’ve lived your entire life grasping who your soulmate is, only to see years into a marriage that it’s not the best fit at all.”

Since the show is an anthology, it follows a person from their first relationship to their last. Now in Love Life Season 2, another face will take the spotlight. There is a very high probability that that person could be the one Darby dated or interacted with. Since Anna Kendrick will be reprising her role in the second season as the side character, the lead character will undoubtedly be related to her.

Love Life Season 2: Release Date

After the announcement of the second season, the fans are eagerly waiting to know the release date. The viewers might face a hiatus because of the production shutdown caused by the Coronavirus outbreak. The fans can expect Love Life Season 2 to release by the end of 2021. Renewal Status Of The Third Season!

As we mentioned above, the series already received a renewal from HBO. The decision to renew the show for its third season was said to be a no brainer for the creators. On April 30, 2020, HBO gave the green light to My Brilliant Friend Season 3, which will follow the third book of the series. HBO executive Francesca Orsi shared her happiness on the occasion of the renewal. She said, “The fact that viewers and critics alike have advanced to embrace Elena and Lila’s tale makes it all the more pleasant. We thank the whole team led by Saverio Costanzo for their exceptional work in the second season. We just can’t wait to show the next chapter of Elena and Lila’s lives and friendship.”

My Brilliant Friend Season 3: Plot Details!

The third season of the show will follow the third book of the series named “Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay.” There will be a time gap in the succeeding installment, which means the teenage girls will become mature women now. Will Gaia Girace & Margherita Mazzucco Leave The Show?

As the girls have now become women, therefore the old cast would be replaced by the new aged cast members. The third episode of My Brilliant Friend Season 3 will be the last episode of Gaia Gracia and Margherita Mazzucco. In a recent interview, Gracia shared her feelings about leaving the show. She said, “I’m sorry to leave Lila’s role because I’ve been working on it for three years. And I’m growing up with her, and I’m sorry to give it to someone else. I hope that whoever gets my place will adore her at least a penny of what I admire her.”

The Walking Dead Season 10: Supposed To Premiere This July

The curator Robert Kirkman explained that they couldn’t ignore the delay in production. However, it’s also not possible to start filming before everything cleared up. Robert stated: “the old Walking Dead show will be coming back. We’ll be airing- I know dates. But, I don’t think they’re public.” He added: “But we have the finale of season 10. And there will be more Walking Dead television for you to watch somewhere in the future.”

However, his vague statement didn’t explain when the finale episode premiere. California granted film and television production to restart this June 12 by considering the new health protocols. So, we can expect The Walking Dead Season 10 finale to premier somewhere this July.

Showrunner Angela Kang Hinted More Details

Showrunner Angela revealed they were very close to finish filming before the production halted. However, if the production resumes, they only have a few shots left to complete their filming. She stated: “I think actually, by the time the world is safe for people to start venturing out. Probably all of the efforts will be made. Then it’s just a few processes, and it can be finished very, very quickly. We’re very fortunate that we can get it all done very rapidly once we’re back up and running.”

Nicotero told FANDOM, where the story will move ahead. During this, he also revealed some of the story details of the finale. He stated: “Where we left everyone, Beta and the mob were enveloping the tower. And the finale episode picks up right where we left off. Our group now has to deal with this massive giant mob of thousands of zombies enveloping they’re safe”.

He added: “There are a lot of character storylines that are covered. We address lots of stuff with Daryl, Negan, Beta, and Carol”. Nicotero told FANDOM that the last minutes would be jaw-dropping. Netflix proposed a financial offer to Kew Media administrator FTI Consulting to continue its Line Of Duty license, as well as its other Kew Media Distribution- sold shows licenses, by insisting to give payment directly to all the producers. However, FTI Consulting refused that offer. Later, it sold Kew Media Distribution’s media center to Quiver Entertainment last month. It made Netflix cut the show’s deal and removed Line Of Duty from its streaming platform.

However, Netflix didn’t remove Line Of Duty from its international platforms. Only in particular countries, the show had been rolled back. However, ITV Studios came up to help season 6, to continue its filming after the production starts again. There’s a cold war going for the international rights of the first five seasons of Line Of Duty. As of now, Quiver Entertainment holds the rights of first five seasons. And as per Quiver Entertainment, it’s there right to keep selling all the five seasons globally. ITV Studios didn’t say anything about its deal with Quiver. However, other producers are discussing to draw out their rights from Quiver.
