In the post, they conveyed that they are thankful that they got the opportunity to produce Miranda de Pencier and Moira Walley Beckett. They are also glad that they got to work with the talented cast and crew of the show and share Anne’s story with everyone. They added that the creators hope that fans love the finale season as much as they do and that the finale brought the conclusion to Anne’s journey. 

Walley Beckett Is Not Happy With The Cancellation

The creator of the Anne With an E Season 4, Walley Beckett is clearly not happy with the cancellation of the show. Beckett shared her disappointment on Instagram. She posted a picture of an owl and said that she wished things could be different, but she cannot. We also said that they had reached the end of the show after three successful seasons.

But it’s something I still justify, in terms of storytelling”.

Hissrich added: “What’s great though is all the three protagonists have met now. So, what we’ll see in The Witcher Season 2 is that all of our characters are existing on the same timeline. What that allows us to do storywise is to play with time in slightly different ways. We get to do flashbacks, and also would jump in time. We get to integrate time in a completely different way than we weren’t able to do in the first season.”

New Cast Additions In Upcoming Season

In an interview, the showrunner Hissrich revealed that The Witcher Season 2 would welcome more newcomers as the story would explore Witcher’s training land. They are Kim Bodnia as Vasemir, Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen, Agnes Born as Vereena, Yasen Atour as Coen, and Thue Ersted Rasmussen as Eskel. Along with Paul Bullion as Lambert, Mecia Simson as Francesca, and Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia. They all will join Geralt of Rivia in his monster’s hunting journey. Further, Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Princess Ciri, and Anya Chalotra as sorceress Yennefer would return.

The Witcher showrunner Hissrich also revealed that some new witcher might also appear in the second season. Hissrich stated: “Probably my favorite additions for season 2 are the new witchers. Really, in the first season, we got to know Geralt of Rivia, and he’s our prime model of a witcher. And then there is another witcher, Remus, who meets in episode 103, who quickly dies. So, it was really about getting Geralt back to his roots and learning. Where he came from and what his story is. And what his sense of family is.”

Monica told Deadline that it was her first cable drama series. And she’s so happy to be a part of it. She stated: “As much as I love the cable network. But, I never had the opportunity to challenge myself doing cable television. I come from a highly theatrical background. So, I like highly complex stories. I like it messy and rough. I’m not too fond of cleanliness when it comes to storytelling. So, this was the chance to mess up my work and push myself”. She added: “For me to be able to play the lead, especially as a queer Latino woman, this is pretty cool.”

In an interview with Collider, Monica expressed how she felt while playing Jackie’s character. She stated: “I certainly felt closer to my character because I’m riding with her through each episode. Even I felt more protective of her because I loved her. I started to love the character that I was playing and understand her. I wanted to take care of it. So, towards the end, that would be the difference.”

Netflix’s comedy-drama is facing new challenges day by day. After going through a lot of negative reviews, it seems like the US military government is also challenging the series. The US government’s original new military wing, also named Space Force as you will probably know, is now seeming to shut down some features of the show. The First Amendment protects parody and satire as forms of free speech. So, fans don’t need to worry about its effects on the future of the show. However, the government has a concern with the potential licensing of branded merchandise sales for Netflix’s Space Force and is looking forward to securing trademark licensing for the newly established sixth branch of the military. 

Space Force Season 2: Release Date

The fans are excited for the second installment of the series and are eagerly waiting for the answers to their questions. However, it seems like they have to wait a little longer since the production shutdown hasn’t been lifted yet. The show is still to get the green light, so it is safe to assume that fans will not get the second installment for at least one and a half year. Space Force might release on Netflix by the end of 2021 or in early 2022.
