Clark also concluded that it was time for her to work on her next project. Well, the show gained a positive response from critics. But the troubled production history was the reason behind the show’s cancelation.

Star Opens Up About Potential Y: The Last Man Season 2

Ashley Romans, who played Yorick’s bodyguard agent 355, discusses the second season’s potential plot. She said the second season would focus on post-apocalyptic Paris, where the cast will revolve around and what the entire world will look like after the cataclysm. She also talked about the show will focus on a comic storyline where two astronauts will return to earth with Y chromosomes. Now it remains unclear whether the show could return for a second season.

Y: The Last Man Season 2: Release Date

As of now, it doesn’t seem like the show could return with the second season. However, if Clark succeeds in bringing the show to the new platform, we expect it will take a year to return to our screen. Some reports claim that the production of the fifth season could likely begin in a couple of months by the Fall of 2022.
