The wood date back to somewhere between 1489-and 1654. the team assumed that the rocks could have been of similar age as they found the wood under the road. The team revealed that the wood was around 300 years older than the Money Pit’s discovery in 1795. Hence, the road would have been constructed during the European exploration of America.

However, the crew was deeply frustrated after losing their way to the Money Pit. But, the stone roadway gave the Laginas some hope of finding something crucial as the season nears an end. Narrator Robert Clothworthy suggested that the discoveries could lead to a major twist in North America’s history in The Curse Of Oak Island Season 9 Episode 20.
