Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 2: Renewed By tvN?

As of now, neither tvN nor Netflix has not made any official announcements regarding the second installment. However, Bulgasal has been one of the top-ranked dramas in the list of top K-dramas. Moreover, the series has also received an impressive rating of 7.6/10 on IMDb and 8.3/10 on My DramaList.

However, most of the K-dramas only feature a single season. Thus, it is not quite sure if the K-drama will return for Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 2.

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 2: What To Expect?

The conclusion of the first installment left a series of unanswered questions, which creates a possibility of a second installment. Hwal told that Bulgasals do not reincarnate. However, he did reincarnate, and hence there is a possibility that Dan Hwal and Ok-Eul Tae. 

Moreover, San-Un died with Hwal’s soul in her body. Hence, she might reincarnate with his souls inside her. So, if she returns, we might see the monsters who want Hwal’s soul might come after her in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 2. If Eu-Tae and the other characters reincarnate too, Hwal will have to return to finish his revenge and finally be with Sang Un during the second installment. 

What Happened In The Finale?

Hwal went inside the cave to face Eul-Tae while Kwon and Sang-Un waited outside with a gun and toxic injections. Hwal tired Eul-Tae out when Kwon and Sang-Un attacked Eul to make him weaker. However, Eul overpowered Hwal and threw him into a well, leading to severe injuries which would take years to heal without human blood. 

Eul-Tae went behind Sang-Un as Kwol tried to stop him by shooting Eul in the heart. He wanted both of the Bulgasals dead for killing his family. Sang-Un tried to remind him that Hwal saved their lives a lot of times. But Kwon was left fatally injured by Eul as he chased after Sang-Un. Kwon urged Hwal to drink his blood and go out to save Sang-Un. 

Sang-Un ran as far as she could while Eun-Tae caught up with her. He sensed Hwal coming closer to them and ran away into a cave Hwal stayed in for 1000 years. Hwal bit Eul-Tae with all the energy he had left and stabbed him in the heart. Eul was left weak and was unable to fight Hwal anymore. Moreover, Sang-Un and Hwal had a final conversation before stabbing himself in the heart too. Hwal died in Swang-Un as his body vanished in the air. Though Sang-Un called Si-Ho for help. However, she died in Si-Ho’s arms at the end of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Episode 16.

Bulgasal: Immortal Souls Season 2: When Will It Return?

tvN has neither confirmed nor canceled the K-drama yet. However, there is a glimmer of hope that the show might return for a second installment. In a flashback to 2017 in New York, Gwyn visited a shady neighborhood where people were living in the hallways. She saw a mother finding her son, who passed out on drugs. 

In the present, TK was disheartened to hear that his mother had passed away. Owen consoled him as they had to take a flight for Gywn’s funeral. TK was worried about his infant brother and thought about his struggles without their mother. Owen assured TK that Jonah would know Gwyn through him. Carlos was present as he consoled TK through the trip.  

Owen And The Crew Worry About TK Relapsing

Further, TK showed up at the firehouse and surprised everyone. he informed them that he would not be attending the funeral. TK got hold of some drugs inside the ambulance as Owen interrupted him. Back in 2017, Gwyn was forced to take harsh measures to bring TK back to health. She decided to send him off to a rehab in California. TK advocated that he was a firefighter, but Gwyn had to do it for his sake.

During the trip to California, TK stole some drugs and waited for his mother to fall asleep before taking them to the restroom. Owen tried to bring TK to his senses and stop him from getting high. However, TK was losing his mind and blamed Owen for not loving Gwyn. Owen assured him that he loved his mother even after their broken relationship. The delay caused them to miss their flight. Owen and TH took another flight while Carlos waited for the next one.

Elsewhere, in 9-1-1: Lone Start Season 3 Episode 8, Nancy informed Tommy that TK had been to the narcotics cabinet. They decided to take an inventory to ensure TK had not relapsed. Owen and TK sat next to a woman named Genevive, whose husband recovered from a recent stroke. TK went into the washroom when an engine blew off. They ran out of saline, and Owen used Coconut water as a temporary solution. Genevive woke up and told TK to clean up before showing up at his mother’s funeral. 

Back in 2017, TK chugged the vials of drugs into the plane’s restroom. He lied to Gwyn about what he was doing in the restroom and told her that she could not save him. In the present, TK confessed to Owen that he was going to steal Fentanyl vials. Owen consoled his son while the plane made an emergency landing. Luckily, everyone survived as the pilots managed to land the plane safely. 

In the past, TK found out that his mother was not going to the clinic with him and booked a flight back home. She left him with words of motivation and a chance for him to do the right thing. Owen and TK landed in Austin in the present and were worried about missing the funeral. Owen assured TK that his mother would understand. Carlos ran into TK’s arms as he was worried about not seeing him again as Owen bid farewell to Genevive. It was revealed that Tk finally got cleaned and invited Owen & Gwyn for Chinese takeout in 9-1-1: Lone Start Season 3 Episode 8.

The ninth episode of The Bachelor Season 26 is titled “The Women Tell All.” Clayton’s ex-partners from his past will reunite with him to solve all the outstanding differences between them. In the previous episode, Clayton visited Virginia to meet Susie’s family. She presented her passion for martial arts at Breakway Jiu-Jitsu and Selfe Defense in Newport News. They made a stop at the Fish Pier in Virginia Beach. Susie told Clayton about her father’s health issues and how much it meant to her that Clayton was meeting her family. Clayton was surprised by Susie’s father Tom, her sister Barbara and her best friend Lauren when he met her mother, Jean. Susie’s father told her that he would be available for her intended wedding. Clayton talked to Susie’s mother about his strong feeling for her. Susie told her mother that she and Clayton were falling in love.

Next, in The Bachelor Season 26 Episode 8, Clayton went to Denver, Colorado, to meet with Gabby and her family. Clayton met with Gabby at the Rocky Mountains for a hike and a relaxing bathtub session at the top. Gabby informed Clayton that her father would not be coming due to his girlfriend’s COVID 19 condition. So, Clayton would be meeting Gabby’s grandfather, her aunt Julie, uncle Rich, and cousin Kira.

Clayton talked to Gabby’s grandfather, who revealed that he likes Clayton. The grandfather also told Clayton about Gabby missing her grandmother and still having her wedding ring. Gabby ran out after hearing a horn of a car parked outside. She surprised her father and held a placard to greet and communicate with each other.

Clayton Visits Serene And Rachel To Meet Their Families!

Further, Clayton visited Oklahoma City to meet with Serene and her parents. Serene and Clayton arrived at Riverport Adventures for him to face his fear of heights. He conquered his fears by taking a free-fall ride to the ground on the first try. Clayton met Serene’s mother Sherri, brother Roland, and best friend Melanie. Clayton and her brother had a man-to-man conversation. Moreover, Serene and her mother told everyone about the death of her cousin and grandma as they presented a jar of flies to honor their memories. Serene and her brother had an emotional conversation about falling in love during a family talk.

Finally, Clayton met with Rachel in her hometown Clermont, Floria. They went to King’s Landing Canoe in Apopka. They took a ride on a creek through a swarm of alligators and spiders and reached the kissing tree. Clayton met Rachel’s mother Mary Anne, father Tony, and best friends Sam & Nate. Rachel’s father and Clayton discussed her life as a pilot. Moreover, Rachel talked to her best friends about upcoming fantasy suites and how they don’t want her to get heartbroken. Rachel’s dad did not give Clayton his blessing as she was very passionate about being a pilot. Rachel told her father that she was falling in love with Clayton.

During the Rose Ceremony, Susie, Gabby, and Rachel received the roses while Clayton accompanied Serene to the exit in The Bachelor Season 26 Episode 8.
